Your Personality TREE

Introduction
=========     Since this is a huge topic and so much 2 cover, it will take me several months 2 conclude alot of this gleaned information from wonderful Authors like Tim Layhaye and Florence Littauer. But it is worth the time helping those 2 learn more about themselves, as well as those around us that we have 2 deal w/in life in general, and also our loved ones. It is my greatest desire 2 help those who want 2 discover by observation instead of 'word'. So thru some basic information, u 2 will make your own personal discoveries thru your own experiences.
     Let's begin this wonderful FUN journey into the 4 Basic Temperament types. Remembering that the 4 Seasons are what we are made up of. As a Reminder once again 4 those who are new:
     Spring is Red                     Summer is Green
     Winter is Yellow                Autumn is Blue

Part 1:  Discover The Real U and Aim 2 Heal U
===================================     DISCOVER:  To obtain, 4 the first time, sight or knowledge of a thing existing already but not perceived or known.

     The aim of this, is 2 examine ourselves in a new way, not just on the surface, not just as we appear 2b 2 others, not just as a mother wanted us 2b.  By looking at our inborn desires, our underlying needs, and our repressed emotions, our eyes will be opened and we will obtain, perhaps 4 the first time, some insight about who we really are.  There is no magic  wand 2 transform us into angels, but as we look at ourselves as God created us 2b and come b4 Him in honesty, He will touch us w/His healing power.

"The fruit of the righteous is a Tree of life." -Provers 11:30, NIV

Were u born like this?
================     The Q "Who am I?"  has been around since Adam wondered what dust he had come from and the serpent told Eve 2 eat the fruit of the Tree of life so her eyes would be opened and she would know who she really was.
     Thru-out the centuries people have been searching 4 a sense of identity and a feeling of 'worth.'  As a Nation we went thru the pangs of new birth and the struggle 2 come out an independent personality.  With liberty and justice 4 all, we attracted people from around the globe  2 a land where they would live happily ever after; but somehow in our dream of fairy-tale endings, we lost the sense of who we are as individuals.  As we grew up and began 2 look at ourselves, we did not
 like the confusion we saw.  The 1960's brought an unpopular war and the beginnings of national sense of self-examination.  Who are we and how did we get ourselves into these problems?
     Sociologists named the 70's the Decade of Depression, a discouraging and defeated time when the ME generation realized that in spite of their quest 2 find themselves, 2 do their 'own thing', and 2 search 4 their inner consciousness on a higher plane, they still did not know who in the world they were.  Months of mystical meditation did not seem 2 stir up a life-changing thought, peace marches had not produced peace, and the flower children had lost their petals.  President Carter, looking down-hearted himself, declared we were in a "National malaise" and that announcement depressed the rest of us.
     As the 80's crept in we began 2 wonder if we ever would find ourselves and so we rushed out  sign up 4 courses in self-help, self-improvement, and self-actualization.  We bought life-long memberships in health spas, held hands in sensitivity groups, and gyrted around gypsy gurus.  Surely the ME generation who had dragged thru the Decade of Depression deserved a break today; but in spite of exercise and bean sprouts, we kept getting older, the sensitivity sisters showed little sensitivity beyond themselves, and the gurus were packed up and deported.  What if we never got a grip on ourselves?  What if we could not create heaven on earth?  Fear gripped us, phobias replaced depression as the nation's number one mental health problem, and the decade was dubbed the Age of Anxiety.
     What about u and me?...  The new  thinking of old truths is that we are BORN as unique individuals. If we come prepackaged w/certain blendings of our Parents' personalities, isn't it our duty 2 the Lord 2b as true 2 our basic traits as we possibly can?  Should  not it be our goal 2 find out who we really are and take off any MASKS or pretenses that we may have put on 4 either self-preservation or a desire 2b like someone else?
    Think back 2 your childhood, 2 how u felt about your parents, 2 how u related w/your siblings, 2 how u reacted from the heart b4 u built walls of protection from the HURTS of the World.  Remember, u were made 4 such a time as this..So...

Were u meant 2b a Sanguine? Were u a cheerful, bubbling, happy-go-lucky child?  Did u avoid chores and somehow manage 2 find friends who were willing 2 bail u out? Did u have little buddies who would not go anywhere w/o u and who thought everything u said was funny? Did u have one parent who was always trying 2 get u down 2 serious business or one who could not understand Y u would not practice the violin?  Did u get good marks in everything but conduct and penmanship?  Then u are a Sanguine whose chief aim in life is 2 have "FUN."

Were u created 2b a CholericWere u in control of the family by the time u were 3 years old?  Did u tell ur mother what u would wear and refuse 2 put on what she had in mind?  Were u able 2 observe from a young age that adults were bigger but not necessarily brighter?  Did u get your school work done faster than the others and then wonder what was wrong w/them?  Did u become captain of the teams and president of the clubs?  Then u are a Choleric whose compelling desire in life is 2 have "CONTROL."

Were u designed 2b a Melancholy Were u sensitive  2 your surroundings and easily moved 2 tears?  Did u line up your toys in rows and go around shutting drawers that no one else seemed 2w notice were open?  Did u do your homework on time and even enjoy research projects?  Did u practice your piano pece until it was perfect,but not want 2 play in the recital?  Did u feel sorry 4 "poor children" and want 2 support  the underdog in any situation?  Did u get discouraged when things did not work out the way u had in mind and no one else seemed 2q care?  Then u are a Melancholy whose hope is 2 someday have "PERFECTION" even though that may be an impossible dream.

Were u born, 2b a Phlegmatic Were u passive in your playpen and understanding if your bottle was overdue?  Did your mother brag that u were a good baby and never gave her any trouble?  Did u like naps?  Did u do your school work on time but not look 4 extra projects?  Did u get nominated 4 vice-president but not really care whether u were elected?  Did u try 2 keep everyone happy and avoid getting into trouble?  Then u are a Phlegmatic whose desire is 2 have "PEACE" at any cost.

     The concept of the FOUR Basic Temperaments is so easy 2 understand and quick 2 grasp that even a child can learn it.

Personality Roles:
==============
Sanguine     = The Star                     Choleric      = The Director
Melancholy =The Producer              Phlegmatic = The Audience

Occasionally  I will use abbreviations 4 the sake of typing and quick reference so those who wish 2 learn this fascinating subject can grasp it quick. So a S/C is a Sanguine/Choleric personality. Or a C/M is a Choleric/Melancholy personality. By remembering our 4 SEASONS, we can grasp this quite simply. There are only 4 SEASONS and 16 Personality types in the World. 4x4=16. Here however, we are only dealing with the Basic Four.

A Quick Quiz of Temperament Traits 4 those interested:
==========================================
Sanguine Personality   Choleric Power

Personality Directions:
=================
Sanguine     = The Happy Way           Choleric     = My Way
Melancholy = The Right Way            Phlegmatic = The Easy Way

Part 2:  What Are Your Desires:
========================     Without an understanding of the basic temperaments and the desires and needs of each, we tend 2 spend much of our time trying 2 get from other people responses that they just cannot give.  Many marriages, 4 example, come 2 a grinding halt bcoz neither partner knows what the other WANTS or NEEDS.  With no simple tool 2 use, success s an accident.  Once we begin 2 understand the basic desire of each nature, however, the veil is lifted and we have the Key 2 getting along w/others.

The Sanguine desires from the beginning 2 have FUN. Accepting this fact will keep us from false expectations that 'some' day he/she will 'grow up' and get down 2 business.

The Sanguine NEEDS Attention and Approval

Heaviness in the heart of man makes it stoop; but a good word makes it glad. [See Proverbs 12:25].

The Choleric wants 2 have CONTROL, and is only comfortable when he/she has choreographed the cast of his world and has it completely under his inspired direction.  Knowing this fact will prevent us from staging a struggle 4 power which we would probably lose.

The Choleric NEEDS Achievement and Appreciation.

Sink the heathen into the pit. Catch their feet in your net. Execute proper judgment. [See Psalms 915-16].

The Melancholy's desire is 2 have PERFECTION.  To know what that is, we have 2 enter into his perfectly organized and categorized mind and see the situation with his eyes.  When we realize he cannot 'relax' until life is in order, we can make a conscious effort 2 meet his standards.

The Melancholy NEEDS Order and Sensitivity.

I am weary of groaning; I make my bed 2 swim; I water my couch w/tears. I cry w/grief. [See Psalms 6:6-7].

The Phlegmatic's aim in life is 2 stay out of trouble and keep PEACE.  He will not become enthusiastic about anything or take chances, so do not push him and think you can alter his personality.  All that badgering him will do is increase his resistance to change.

The Phlegmatic NEEDS Respect and a Feeling of Worth.

Lay me down in peace 2 sleep. Make me dwell in safety. [See Psalms 4:8].

When we see and accept that each temperament has a different desire in life, we can function out of Knowledge and not ignorance.  "Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless like doves" [Matthew 10:16, KJV].

Anger Is A Choice

Introduction
=========        It is easy 2 understand God our Maker, when we look at Nature. We all have our special favorite Season. Whether it is Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter and the endless reasons why. Within these Seasons we find each beginning and ending, but it's continuation in the next Season. Like Mr Winter giving in to Miss Spring;. Separate yet a part of the whole picture of. It is there we begin our Journey into understanding God, our Father of all Life, who we are and those around us we cherish.

         The Rainbow is more than just a pretty object 2 look at after a rain storm; within it's brilliant colors, in SEED form, is hidden all the characteristics of our God and who we are made from. Consider 4 example the 3 major colors. Red, Yellow and Blue. Now think about the other 3 colors, Green which is an equal mixing of Yellow and Blue. Peach that comes from mixing Red and Yellow, and also our Purples from mixing Red and Blues. Life would be strange without one of these colors, imagine the world without green grass or green leafy trees. Or no yellow sunshine. So our journey into our Personalities of our weaknesses and our strengths; in a FUN and wonderful way, begins here, in learning more about Papa-God and how very special and loved u truly are!

The 4 Basic Temperaments
=====================       Made up of the traits we inherit at conception, temperament is influenced later by childhood training, education, life  experiences, environment, and both human and spiritual motivation.  The best theory of temperament was proposed by Hippocrates 2,500 years ago. He suggested that people fit into 4 basic categories: The Sanguine Super-Extrovert Salesman, The Choleric Extrovert strong-willed Leader, The Melancholy Introvert Perfectionist, and  The Phlegmatic Super-Introvert Passavist.  Although variations have been suggested, this theory is disseminated today very similar 2 it's original form.  Perhaps the Key addition is that no one fits perfectly into one of Hippocrates' molds, 4 people tend 2 represent a blend of 2 or more of these temperaments.  This seems 2b a reasonable corollary, since they show physical characteristics of both The Father and The Mother.

        Most people tend 2b predominantly one temperament with slight traits of another.  It is not uncommon 4 a person to be 80 percent Sanguine and 20 percent Phlegmatic, or 70 percent Choleric and 30 percent Melancholic.  There is no end of variations and percentages these traits may produce. One man who was tested proved to be about 60 percent Sanguine, 20 percent Melancholy, and 20 percent Phlegmatic.

Temperament and Transformed Temperaments
===================================        The analysis of Human Temperament is one of the most fascinating subjects I have ever studied.  Although it is tempting to launch into a comprehensive discussion of it, I must deal only with the basics here. Lets look at the Basic 4:

The Sanguine and Anger
= The Sanguine Temperament breeds a warm, friendly, and outgoing person who draws people 2 himself like a magnet.  He is a good talker, a happy-go-lucky optimist, the 'life-of-the-party."  Thought generous and compassionate, responsive 2 his surroundings and 2 the moods or feelings of others, like the other temperaments he features some natural weaknesses.  He is often weak-willed, emotionally unstable and explosive, restless and egotistical.  Voted 'most likely 2 succeed" in his youth, he rarely measures up 2 expectations.  He has great difficulty following through on details and is almost never quiet.  Beneath his bold exterior he is often insecure and fearful.  Sanguines make good salesmen, speakers, actors, and sometimes leaders.
     A Sanguine is rarely depressed in-the-company of others.  He is such a response-oriented person that the sight of another individual usually lifts his spirits and brings a smile 2 his face.  Whatever periods of depression he does experience almost invariably occur when he is alone.
     Many undisciplined sanguines experience anger.  Their lack of discipline and weakness of will has usually made them rather unproductive, much 2 their chagrin and self-disappointment.  They are also prone 2 obesity because of their inability 2 refuse fattening desserts and other delicacies. This lowers their self-esteem and heightens their tendency toward angry expressions.  Although they usually go through the motions of responding happily 2 other people, their tendency toward anger will increase.   One writer likened them 2 Peter Pan. . . they wish never 2 grow-up.  Although they are well-liked and attractive, they are undependable and without real substance.
     Sanguine individuals have a strong tendency 2b disorganized and unproductive.  You have probably heard about the sanguine businessman who rushed into the airport and up 2 the ticket counter and said, "Give me a ticket quick!"  To which the clerk replied, " A ticket 2 where, sir?"  "Anywhere," said the businessman. "I've got business all over."
     Their anger is of the "hot-flash" variety. They can explode faster than any other temperament. One thing about their anger, though, is that once they have exploded, they forget all about it . .  you don't, but they do. They rarely get ulcers . . . they give them 2 everyone else.
     As these charming sanguines who often act like overgrown children become aware of their own shallowness, their insecurities are heightened.  They become defensive, sensitive 2 slights or criticism, almost obsessed w/others' opinions of them.  It is not uncommon 4 them 2 become angry at this point.  They may even blame their parents 4 indulging them so much in childhood that they never developed self-discipline, but it is very difficult 4 them 2 blame themselves, confess their sin, and seek the filling of the Holy Spirit 4 the strength of character they so desperately need.
     If they do not  face their problem realistically and learn 2 walk in the Spirit , they will fluctuate up and down between anger  and happiness 4 a time until, in some childlike way, they make the mental adjustment and then go through life fixed in a playful position far beneath their level of potential.
     Spirit-filled sanguines are different!  The Holy Spirit convicts them that their angry thought patterns are sin, and guides them 2 those areas of productivity that make it easier 4 them 2 accept and appreciate themselves.  When a sanguine is filled w/the Spirit, like the Apostle Peter in the Book of Acts, he or she becomes a productive and effective person not overwhelmed w/anger.

The Choleric and Anger
= The Choleric temperament produces a practical activist.  He is strong-willed, a natural leader, and very optimistic.  His brain is filled w/ideas, projects, or objectives, and he usually sees them through.  Like Mr Sanguine he is Extrovert,  but not nearly so intense.  Although very productive in life, he reflects serious natural weaknesses.  He is self-sufficient, impetuous, and hot-tempered, and he tends 2b harsh or cruel.  In fact, no one can be as cutting and sarcastic as a choleric.  He makes a good supervisor, general, builder, crusader, politician, or organizer, but he is not usually able 2 do precise detail work.
     The choleric rarely becomes depressed, primarily because his active, goal-conscious mind keeps him so motivated that he projects fourteen different programs simultaneously.  If one of them proves baffling or frustrating, his disappointment is short-lived and he quickly pursues a fresh challenge.  Cholerics are happy when busy, and thus they have little time 2b depressed.  Their primary frustration in life is that there are not enough hours in the day 2 engage in their endless supply of goals and objectives.
     Cholerics have a strong will are  very determined individuals.  U may recall the story of  the sanguine man married 2 his choleric wife. One day she came 2 her husband and said, "Henry, I want 2 buy a pair of scissors." Henry replied, "We cant afford them." The conversation went on like this: "But I want them." "I said no!" "But I need them." "The answer is no." "Henry, I need those scissors!"
     Henry responded, "Woman, if u say one more word about those scissors, I am going 2 take u outside and dump u down into the well." "Scissors," said the choleric wife.  Henry then jumped up, grabbed her, and took her outside 2 the well. "Woman, if u promise not 2 say one more word about  scissors, I will not throw u down the well."  "SCISSORS!" she replied.
     "Okay, u asked 4 it!" With that Henry tied a rope on his wife and lowered her into the well. When she was half-way down, he said, "If u promise not 2 say anything about scissors, I'll pull u back up." "SCISSORS!" came the echo from the well.
     "That did it!" said Henry. He let go of the rope, and his wife's head disappeared under  water.  As Henry peered into the well, the only thing he could see was his choleric wife's hand sticking out of the water. The first two fingers of her hand were moving back and forth in a scissors-like motion.  Choleric individuals are very strong-willed and determined.
     The rejection or insults that often set off other temperaments into periods of depression never faze a choleric.  He is so thick-skinned, self-sufficient, and independent by nature that he rarely feels the need 4 other people.  Instead of feeling sorry 4 himself when alone, he spends the time originating new plans.
     Emotionally he is the most underdeveloped of all the temperaments.  For that reason he usually experiences very slight mood changes.  Although he quickly becomes angry, he rarely indulges in self-pity. Instead, he explodes all over everyone else.  Because he is so insensitive 2 a person's opinion of him, he is not vulnerable 2 depression brought on by others.  If a choleric ever battles depression, it will come as a result of frustration or retreat.
     Unless he achieves victory over his anger early in life, the unforgiving by nature and consequently usually has  ulcers by the time he is 40 years old.  He is the one temperament that both gets and gives ulcers.
     As a Christian, the choleric must learn 2 rest in the Lord and commit his way 2 Him.  An indomitable will and spirit of self-sufficiency often cause him 2b a useless, unproductive Christian because he insists on doing everything in the flesh instead of the Spirit.  If he does successfully promote Christan activities, his pride makes him spiritually myopic and he fails 2 discern his carnal motivation.
     The peace of the Holy Spirit that passes all understanding will modulate his thinking pattern, causing him 2 concentrate on the Lord first and then on the task.  He must learn that God's program does not depend on him; rather, he needs 2  depend on God.  He must further recognize that fulfilling the work of God is not enough; he must do it in the power of the Spirit.  As the Bible says, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord of Hosts" [Zechariah 4:6].  The Apostle Paul, possibly the best illustration of a Spirit-filled choleric used of God, had learned this well, 4 he said, "When I am weak, then I am strong" [2Corinthians 12:10].
     The flesh-filled choleric Christian can become angry until he realizes this principle, because he gets frustrated by the lack of spiritual results from his hard-driving, fleshly efforts.  Instead of blaming himself 4 his carnal, self-willed spirit, he may swell up in self-pity and withdraw from his church activities.
     A choleric's carnal spirit is often easily discerned by others in the congregation, and thus he may be bypassed when officers are elected.  "I dont understand," he complains. "Isn't my hard work sufficient proof of my devotion 2 Christ?"  Happy is the choleric who learns w/James 2 say, "If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that" [James 4:15].  If he seeks the priorities of the will of God through the leading  of the Holy Spirit in his life, he will be not only more productive, but also more composed.  When once he comprehends that walking in the Spirit is the secret 2 spiritual productivity, he will  gain consistency in his Christian life.
    The ability of the Holy Spirit 2 transform a choleric tendency 2 anger is illustrated superbly in the life of the Apostle Paul.  If ever a man was an illustration of choleric temperament, it was Saul of Tarsus b4 he became a Christian, renamed Paul.  After his conversion, his indomitable choleric will directed by the Holy Spirit surged forward throughout the events related in the Book of Acts.
     Paul 's response 2 confinement offers a classic illustration of circumstances overcome through the invasion of man's spiritual nature by the Holy Spirit.  Confined 2 the cold, clammy Mamertine Prison in Rome 4 preaching the Gospel, he manifested not one sign of self-pity.  Instead, this dynamic Christian took advantage of the opportunity 2 share his faith personally w/every new Roman soldier assigned 2 him as a guard.  So many of these men  were converted that he addressed the church of Rome, "All the saints salute u, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household" [Philippians 4:22].
     In addition, from this prison he penned the prison epistles, including the epistle of Joy called the letter 2 the Philippians, in which he stated, "I have learned, in whatever state I am, therewith 2b content" [4:11]. Even Spirit -filled cholerics can have victory over angry outbursts.

The Melancholy and Anger
= The richest of all temperaments is the melancholy. Rich not only in gifts and esthetic appreciation, it has the capacity 2 experience the entire spectrum of emotional mood fluctuations.  It is also rich in emotional weaknesses, particularly in the tendency 2 become angry and depressed.  Some of the world's greatest Geniuses have been gifted melancholies who squandered their talent in the slough of despondency, becoming apathetic and unproductive.  This is so much in evidence that the ancients frequently used the words melancholy and depression interchangeably.
     The melancholy is usually the most talented of all temperaments.  A natural perfectionist, very sensitive and appreciative of  the fine arts, he is analytical and self-sacrificing. As a rule he is not outgoing by nature and rarely pushes himself forward, but he makes a very faithful friend.  However, he tends 2b moody, critical, pessimistic, and self-centered.  The world's great artists, composers, philosophers, inventors, and theoreticians have usually been melancholies.
     Although everyone is vulnerable 2 his own thinking pattern, none is more responsive than the melancholy.  Among his other creative gifts, he harbors a great ability 2 suggest images 2 the screen of his imagination--probably in living color w/stereophonic sound.  Because melancholies are moody by nature, they may regard their moods result directly from thinking patterns.  If a melancholy guards his thought processes and refuses 2 indulge in the mental sins of anger, resentment, self-persecution, and self-pity, he will not yield 2 his predisposition toward depression.
     One day several friends and I were dining in a restaurant. Suddenly a melancholy college-aged man w/a gaunt look appeared at the edge of our table and asked, "Pardon me, but may I ask u folks if u were laughing at me?" Naturally we were shocked into silence.  Finally I said, "Young man, I don't think we've ever seen u b4 in our lives." With that he excused himself and walked away.  Reflecting on the incident, we concluded that during our laughter and conversation, we must have looked in his direction, which gave this troubled young man the impression that we were laughing at his expense.  Equally as substantial are many of the depression- causing events in the life of the average melancholy.

Melancholy Perfectionists
=================  Melancholies often are easily depressed because they are perfectionists. Most people could profit by having more perfectionist tendencies, but the true perfectionist is made miserable by them.  In the first place, he measures himself by his own arbitrary standard of perfection and becomes discouraged w/himself when he falls short.  The fact that his standard is usually so high that neither he nor anyone else could live by it rarely occurs 2 him or her.  Instead, he/she insists that their criterion 4 perfection is 'realistic."
     In addition 2 perfectionism he also is very conscientious and prides himself on being "dependable" and "accurate."  Naturally all of his friends fall short of this standard, so it is not uncommon 4 him 2 become angry about himself and his associates. Very rigid and inflexible, he finds it difficult 2 tolerate the slightest deviation from what he considers 2b the measure of excellence.
     Such perfectionist-prone melancholies can love their children dearly while at the same time becoming angry w/them. Children are notoriously disorganized and unpredictable; they follow their own schedules and insist on acting  like children. A rigid melancholy parent finds it difficult 2 cope w/such unpredictability and consequently may experience anger.  Sometimes  a melancholy mother may become ambivalent,loving her children intensely while at the same time being filled w/anger and bitterness toward them.  The carefree, happy-go-lucky tyke who insists on trekking across the clean kitchen floor in muddy boots can be a source of irritation 2 any mother, particularly 2 a melancholy. B4 she was married, she probably could not retire 4 the night until her shoes were lined up properly and the bathroom was in perfect order.  Children automatically change that, but  perfectionists find it difficult 2 cope w/such change; consequently, depression is their outlet.  They become angered at the lack of perfection in others and indulge in self-pity because they are the only ones striving 4 lofty goals.  Such thought patterns invariably produce anger.
     In fairness 2 melancholy people, we note that they are as critical of themselves as they are of others. Consequently they tend 2 develop an inadequate view of themselves.  From early childhood they construct a
disparaging self-image on the screen of their imagination.  As they get older, they tend 2 reject themselves even more, unlike some of the other temperaments who learn 2 accept themselves.  If they were permitted 2 verbalize their criticisms in childhood, they are apt 2 be verbally critical in adulthood.  Each time they indulge in oral criticism, they only embed the spirit of criticism more deeply in their mind, and critics are never happy people!
     One day I had an opportunity 2 C this principle in action.  As I was passing through the security screening b4 boarding a plane, the security officer was criticizing the individuals who flew on that airline as 'slovenly, inconsiderate, disoraganized, and ungrateful people."  I took it just about as long as I could, but finally, looking at him w/a big smile [I find one can say almost anything if he smiles], I observed, "You must be an unhappy man!"
     He looked at me rather startled and replied, "Why do u say that?"  "Because u are so critical.  I have never met a happy person wo is a critical person."  After inspecting my baggage, the officer said, "Thank you, sir, I needed that."  To my amazement he turned  the next customer and said, "Hello, how are u?  So glad  have u on our airline."  I dont know how long the officer will profit from that experience, but I am certain he is capable of making himself happy or miserable in direct proportion 2 the way he thinks of and talks 2 people.

Self-Sacrifice and Persecution-Proneness
==============================     Two characteristics of the melancholy short-circuit each other: the natural desire 2b self-sacrificing and the self-persecution tendency. Unless the melancholy is careful, this conflict will likely make a martyr out of him.  Ordinarily he chooses the most difficult and trying location 2 ply his vocation.  When others seem 2b more successful or gain more renown, instead of facing realistically the fact that he has chosen the path of self-sacrifice, he indulges in self-pity because his journey winds uphill and leads through arduous straits.
     Melancholies rarely-explode--at first.  This is, if u insult a melancholy he will usually react properly at the time.  But after u have gone he will mull it over, stew about it, and become upset.  When u see him 2 months later, long after u have forgotten the experience, he may 'blow up' just at the sight of u.  Melancholies have  a slow-burning fuse that is very long.  The determination of a melancholy 2 gripe and criticize merely compounds his negative thinking, perpetuates his anger, and ultimately brings him 2 despair.  For this reason 1 Thessalonians 5:18 can come 2 his rescue.  If he painstakingly and consistently follows its formula, he will never become depressed: "In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning u."

Melancholy Creativity
=================     Fortunately 4 the melancholy, he possesses an unusual creative ability 2 project
all kinds of images on the screen of his imagination.  Once he fully realizes that positive feelings are the direct result of constructing wholesome mental images of himself and his circumstances, he is well on road of recovery and prevention of future bouts w/anger.  Melancholy people risk anger primarily because of the continual misuse of their creative imagination.  That is, on the  imagination screen on their mind they negativism, hurt, self-pity, helplessness, and despair.  When they realize that their creative suggestions can work either 4 or against them, they can carefully project only those images that are pleasing 2 God.  such thoughts will lift their spirits, stabilize their moods, and help them 2 avoid anger.

The Phlegmatic and Anger
= The easy-going, never-get-upset "nice guy" is the phlegmatic. Besides featuring a calm and likable disposition, Mr Phlegmatic is a cheerful fellow who works well w/other people, an efficient, conservative, dependable, witty person w/a practical turn of mind.  Since he is quite introvert, as a rule, his weaknesses like his strengths are not so readily perceptible as those of other temperaments.  His most obvious weakness is a lack of motivation.  He can ignore work graciously and is prone 2b stubborn, stingy, and indecisive.  His ability 2 look at life through the eyes of a spectator may generate a tendency  2 avoid 'getting involved" w/anything.  Phlegmatics make good diplomats, since they are natural peacemakers.  Many are teachers, doctors, scientists, comedians, and editors.  When externally motivated, they make very capable leaders.
     Generally a phlegmatic person is not easily angered.  He usually has such a high boiling point that he will seldom be explosive, though he may burn red inside.  His unique sense of humor signals a happy outlook on life, and rarely does he reflect much mood fluctuation in either direction.  It is possible 2 know a phlegmatic all his life and never see him truly angry, for no matter what the occasion, he tends 2 mentally excuse the person who has offended, injured, or rejected him.  His ability 2 adjust 2 unpleasant circumstances is unbelievable 2 the other 3 temperaments, which find it easy 2 gripe or criticize mentally and verbally.
     If a phlegmatic ever does display anger, it is usually aimed at his own lack of aggressiveness.   Many times his practical, capable mind devises a suitable plan of action 4 a given set of circumstances, but because of his passive inclination or his fear of being criticized by others, he keeps it 2 himself.  Consequently, driven by family or other group pressure, he may find himself pursuing a plan inferior 2 his own.  This can produce irritation which, when followed by self-pity, will make him angry.  His anger is usually short-lived, however, because b4 long someone will come along who will amuse and entertain him.
     There is one critical period in life when the phlegmatic is most vulnerable 2 anger. During the 5th and 6th decade he often becomes aware that the other temperaments have passed him by vocationally, spiritually, and in every other way.  While he was passively watching the game of life as a spectator, his more aggressive friends were stepping through the doors of opportunity.  His security-mindedness has checked him from attending upon daring adventures in life, and thus his existence may seem rather stale 2 him during this period.  If he indulges in self-pity, he will definitely become angry.
     Instead o blaming his fear or indolence, he finds it much easier 2 reproach "society" or "the breaks" or "my luck."  Such a person should learn from the Lord Jesus early in life 2 attempt great things 4 God, 4 Christ said, "According 2 your faith be it unto u" [Matthew 9:29].

The Remedy 4 Temperament Weaknesses
=============================     God has a thrilling plan 4 overcoming all temperament weaknesses--even anger.  In Ephesians 5:18 He designated it as being continually "filled w/the Spirit."  The filling of the Holy Spirit produces 3 great emotional characteristics:

1.  A song in the heart [Ephesians 5:19]:
2.  A thanksgiving mental attitude [Ephesians 5:20]:
3.  A submissive spirit [Ephesians 5:21].

     It is impossible 2b angry when all 3 of these EMOTIONS are present.  The filling of the Spirit, therefore, is the obvious remedy 4 the emotion of Anger.
     When Christians walk in the Spirit, they will maintain the proper mental attitude so that they can respond in prasie and thanksgiving 2 the negative circumstances of life.  Rememeber, God has promised not 2 permet negative circumstances above our ability 2 cope w/them.  He is, of course, presupposing that we maintain the proper mental attitude.
     Several components make up the right mental attitude.  Consider them carefully 2 C if u possess them.

1.  Complete commitment 2 the will and way of God  [Romans 6:11-13;   12:1-2].  Circle the percent of commitment u feel that u have at this point in your life from 10% to 100%.

2.  Knowledge of the principles of God [Romans 12:2].  No one will know perfectly all the principles of God 4 living, but u can daily refresh your mind on them by reading an studying the Word of God.  I study the Bible several times a week.

3.  Faith [Romans 14:23;  Hebrews 11:6].  It is impossible 2 enlist the dynamic dimensions of God into your life w/o faith.  If your faith is weak, don't wait 4 some miracle 2 make it strong. Get 2 know God and read His Word and u will grow stronger.
     A.  Hear, read, and study the Bible [Romans 13:10].
     B.  Pray 4 increased faith [1 Corinthians 12:31].
     C.  Walk in the Spirit [Galatians 5:22-23].
     D.  Experience Faith [Romans 1:17].

Each time u trust God 4 something, it is easier 2 trust Him the next time.

TIME - Part 2: The 4 SEASONS

Yesterday we spoke a little about TIME BASICS [28Sep2010], today we will begin dividing and organzing how each person of the world fits into their own personal Season and how that affects us all. It was stated that Seasons is one of the biggest cycles of TIME; and it is so beautifully complex by our Maker. In order not 2 get lost in the Trees, I have color-coded everything in order 2 keep it simple and quick 4 learning 2 those who are interested in understanding where they came from; why they are here and where they fit in this massive planet we call Earth. Every word, illustration and example is giving credit 2 my God, the one who trusted me with His own creation. I hope this will be enjoyable as we begin the 2nd portion of TIME;

===============
The 4 SEASONS
===============
Since the Seasons are one of the Biggest Cycles of TIME. Once we grasp just 4 little cycles, everything will begin 2 take place of understanding in our journey of how things were created in simple down-2-earth application:

1. Winter is Cold, Slow and Rejuvinating like sleep, and where we get North from. The Blue people are the serious and factual persons who do one thing and do it well. Blue does not like 2b hurried. Blue's like 2 'think' alot and like behind the scenes. They are very gifted and creative with their hands.
     Winter is soothing and nostalgic making us desire 2b indoors with a hot bowl of our favorite soup or a hot cup of coacoa with a good book or a good movie. It is restful physically but very busy inward mentally.  Blue shows it's love in actions rather in showing off. Blue is nurturing and caring. It is also very romantic and shy. It's treasures are hidden 4 one to come along and discover the wealth waiting 2b discoverd. Blue is slow but thorough. Blue is cuddly and non-forceful. Blues enjoy listening. This Season is considered 2b Introvert. Blue is complete but lacks cheerfulness which is why it seeks out Spring as it's first choice of mate. Blues are always looking 4 the 'perfect' mate. Blue is a Teacher. It has traveled all the other 3 Seasons and now has learned it's lessons well and can pass wisdom on 2 it's next generation. Believes in educationing the next generation. Blue was Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. Consider the Oceans and how it affects u internally. At first glance it is hidden, but underneath the Sea is a world waiting 2b discovered.

2. Spring is Warm, Super-fast and cheerful as Joy, and where we get South from. The Yellow  people are the happy-go-lucky, bright-eyed and talkative enthusiastics.  Yellows are the smile we see in someone we do not knonw. They are the story-tellers that make us laugh and enjoy life. Yellow is newness and life! It is the gasp or the aw! of something we just noticed. Yellow wants attention and demands 2b noticed. It is the birds singing their songs loudly 2b heard. Yellows are inspiring and courageous like the Lion in the Wizard of Oz. Imagine the world w/o The Sun! It is unheard of. It is Warm and enjoyable and seeks out the Blue as it's first choice in mate bcoz it needs stability and steadfastness.

3. Summer is Hot, Fast and gets things done, and where we get West from. The Red people are the ones that work and are busy all the time and born to lead and organize others. If u need someone 2 take u by the hand, the Red is more than happy 2 apply 4 the position. Red is hot and cooks our food and lights our Homes with all manner of luxuries from our TV, Internet and DVD player, it is electricity that when used right is something we cannot live w/o. Red is cautious and the stop sign. Red is the heat we need 2 keep us warm from the freezing cold temperatures. Red is impatient but w/a good reason 2 get things done by a deadline. Red leads and guides us. It seeks out appreciation and desires the mate in Autumn as it needs balance and a listening ear. Red is when all agriculture develops so we may have our fruits, nuts and all manner of foods we need 2 live by. Red is brillant and bright. It is not afraid 2 speak it's mind and enjoy caring 4 others. Red was the Tin-Man in the Wizard of Oz who was seeking a heart never knowing how wonderfully caring he really was.

4. And Autumn is Cool, Super-slow and patient, and where we get our East from. The Green people are the Watchers, brilliant and easy-going and super shy. Greens are the good veggies our bodies need 2 fight off diseases. Green is ever patient and the best parent, the greatest listener u will ever find. They are enduring and slow and easy-going in getting things done well. They are the brillant Scientists with which we would never have received our light bulb or auto-mobiles or most of our inventions from. Green is soothing and cool. It is not harsh or demanding but enjoys watching and observation. Green was the Scarecrow who was seeking a Brain never understanding he was a Genius! Greens seek our Reds as their first choice in mate for they desire 2b cared for and need of belonging.

     Seasons move clock-wise much like the hours on a clock, they do not go backwards, only forward. The reason this is good is bcoz what has been, will be again. Time repeats itself over and over again, only the circumstances by the choices and decisions people make change things.

     Imagine with me a clock. We will color-code the four [4] portions of a clock 2 illustrate the 'movement' of the Seasons. To the right side of this blog is a clock, if u need visualization, consider looking at it:

     Let's illustrate by saying:
WINTER is the 1st block on the top left side as (09:00 - 12:00),
SPRING; The 2nd block on the top right as (12:00 - 03:00),
SUMMER as the 3rd block on the bottom right as (03:00 - 06:00),
AUTUMN as the 4th block on the bottom left side as (6:00 - 9:00).

     We now have our 4 Seasons divided into 4 blocks on our clock, from this all living things, great and small have their existence. Where a person is born, will determine how the movement of TIME affects them. The above illustration is for Winter born people, since the Blue falls in Winter.

Next let's look at the break-down of the Seasons, each Season has 3 months associated with it as we all know:

1. 09:00-12:00 - Winter has January . February and March

2. 12:00-03:00 - Spring has April . May and June

3. 03:00-06:00 - Summer has July . August and September

4. 06:00-09:00 - Autumn has October . November and December

Notice how they seem 2b walking up stairs! Beautifully organized and balanced in every way by our Maker.
Each Season is divided by it's months.  Here is an amazing discovery of note: If we wanted 2 examine 'only' the Blues, this is what it would look like, let's look again by grouping them after their own kind:

1. Winter Months, People: January . May and September
2. Spring Months, People: February . June and October
3. Summer Months, People: March . July and November
4. Autumn Months, People: April . August and December

All these are color-coded according 2 their personal Seasons by where they landed in TIME of birth.

Taking our example as Blue people, we see that January, May and September have common characteristics and feel a kindred spirit when they meet. If u have ever felt comfortable in the presence of someone u did not know, that is the reason, or perhaps u associated with someone u did not know but 'felt' uncomfortable in their presence, that is also the reason.

In order 2 further understand Seasons, we have 2 break them down even further 2 find their simularities and balance of TIME. Therefore, the 4 Seasons will now be grouped into only Two groups, we have observed the grouped Months, now observe the grouped Seasons:

A) Winter and Summer and
B) Spring and Autumn.

These are the same or in competition 2 themselves. While their opposites are different. The difference between Winter and Summer is Winter is Mental and Summer is Physical. Winter is a time of rest while Summer is a time 2 get things done. In Winter the fruit tree has no buds and still asleep, while in Summer, the fruits are ripening. So like-wise, The difference between Spring and Autumn is Spring is a time of new beginnings which is also Physical, while Autumn is a time of all endings, also Mental. Since the 4 Seasons are divided into 2 groups, we can see how TIME has a good balance. Winter is Stop, Spring is Go, Summer is GO! and Autumn is STOP! So let's look at our clock once more:

Winter - 09:00-12:00 on the Left top is Passive
Spring - 12:00-03:00 on the Right top is Agressive - Best mates

Summer - 03:00-06:00 on Right bottom is Agressive
Autumn - 06:00-09:00 on Left bottom is Passive - Best mates

Now let's put it all together:

January is Passive       09:00-12:00 - The Blue in Winter
February is Agressive 12:00-03:00 - The Yellow in Winter
March is Agressive     03:00-06:00 - The Red in Winter
Notice: There is no Green Autumn in Winter, more on that later.

April is Agressive 06:00-09:00 - The Green in Spring
May is Passive     09:00-12:00 - The Blue in Spring
June is Agressive 12:00-03:00 - The Yellow in Spring
Notice: There is no Red Summer in Spring

July            is Agressive 03:00-06:00 - The Red in Summer
August       is Agressive 06:00-09:00 - The Green in Summer
September is Passive     09:00-12:00 - The Blue in Summer
Notice: There is no Yellow Spring in Summer

October     is Agressive 12:00-03:00 - The Yellow in Autumn
November is Agressive 03:00-06:00 - The Red in Autumn
December is Passive     06:00-09:00 - The Green in Autumn
Note: There is no Blue Winter in Autumn

If u feel a bit overwhelmed by now, do not worry, just continue, just pick the color u are born under and follow it and soon it will begin 2 unfold. How marvelous God is 2 have strategically organize everything that was created so that there is balance and not chaos in our world. The more I learn, the more Im speechless at how beautiful everything is.

There will be many lessons on TIME, but we are only talking about SEASONS so far. Consider how u feel about each Season. A person born in Winter will have difficultity in Summer, while a person born in Summer will have difficulty in Winter. We begin 2 understand the 'whys' of all our Qs as we learn about TIME and it is also FUN.  In the next lesson, we will move on to the Months and it's cycles.

TIME ... The Basics

Introduction
=========     Most of us never think about 'Time', we tend 2 consider it in terms of how old someone is, whether young or old. Amazingly a Journey began some years ago, that has me still learning w/o end. So what is TIME then, u might ask?

I had 2 learn step by step like anyone else, only it took me longer since I kept getting things repeatedly messed up. I began 2 Q myself, saying, "Am I normal", or "Why am I not like others?" One day I began 2 just think about my life as I was sipping on a cup of hot coacoa and turning the pages of a favorite book. The thought came 2 me that Life is like a Book! As I continued in this adventure of thought, I considered some events of my past and began 2 match them 2 some years. All of a sudden, the years began 2 unfold a 'Pattern' and an organized set of events. I thought more about this one and that one and soon, it was amazing how my own thoughts were like Chapters which had Pages that led me 2 the strong desire 2 understand if other people felt like I did. Perhaps I thought, they might have the answer I'm seeking. I started with a Q, then another and another, it kept snowballing into so long ago, how this famous person did that and so on.. Finally I found myself asking the Q, So what is TIME then? A wondeful Discovery exploded with such great Understanding in me! And here is what I heard in my spirit-man: An amazing journey awaits u...

TIME as we know it is not big but rather never-ending, much like a calendar, clock, or round ring. For God Himself created everything. If u are like me, I like things as simple as possible so I dont get lost in the Trees! God sees everything, the BIG picture and the smallest details. But us humans, Either see the Big Picture, OR just get lost in Details. When one is an Artist, he thinks of his colors and tools as his brushes and canvas etc. If one is a Designer, they consider something they want 2 make and the tools 4 such a task. So God Himself is this way; He decided 2 create something and He did it thru 'steps', called TIME. Let's begin by saying what time is..

===============
TIME, The BASICS
===============
Q:  What is TIME?
A:  Time are 'Portions of a Whole', much like a Calendar is the whole, but it's months are it's portions.

================
The Portions of TIME
================

1.  CYCLES      4. MONTHS   7. HOURS       10. Numbers [Math]
2.  SEASONS   5. WEEKS       8. MINUTES   11. Letters [Communication]
3.  YEARS        6. DAYS          9. SECONDS  12. Color [Creativity]

In order 2 understand how all these portions of TIME fit together, we will call them TIME CYCLES. And All of TIME can be summoned into one phrase!..  The Star of David.. Within is hidden everything.

You might think, How does this affect me, or, so what? Usually the greatest miracle is always right b4 our eyes but we do not see it simply bcoz we do not understand. However, if u are like millions of people who have come 2 ask the familar Q, "Who am I", or "Why am I here", or "Why should I even get out of bed today", God has a famous saying, " MY People are destroyed 4 lack of  Knowledge.  Most of us understand Seasons, surely the Farmer does. So 2 keep it as simple as I can so even a child understands, I will break TIME in it's proper 'portions' in respect 2 Creation.  I'm not here 2 debate, just the facts and u alone can come 2 your own conclusion; but it is so simple, like hitting on your head saying, wow, why did I not think of this. In understanding how each portion of TIME fits together, we will explore PEOPLE, SEASONS, FARMERS in Agriculture and other basic examples since most can grasp this nice and quickly.  Finally, I cannot take ANY credit 4 any of this, simply bcoz it was given 2 me step by step...and each step became a miracle! Tho my journey continues...I have found many of my answers thru self-discovery and so can u.

There are also Cycles of Time, these are not in themselves a 'portion' but rather a 'Double-Duty of Time, meaning that they are the pre-requisite of a portion of Time. This has 2 happen in order 4 that 2 happen; much like u have 2 prepare a meal b4 being able 2 eat.  A special note must be made here in order 2 understand that Seasons move in a never-ending circle, much like we consider a wedding ring 2 be or a cord which has parts of a whole. It is without a seam, the beginning is also the ending and starts all over again, so this are the Cycles. Ok, let's move on:

So we think of WINTER as the end of a year, when things comes 2 an almost 'stop', like our night when the moon is out and it is time 4 us 2 sleep. It is the way the body rests in order 2 heal itself. So WINTER also is the last and first Cycle. We cannot have a new Beginning, w/o having had an End and so on..

With this said, WINTER 'ends' and SPRING begins, giving surrender to Summer which in turn submits 2 Autumn once again. Let's further at the beauty of our seasons in terms of people as well. Since we know already that WINTER is slow and thorough, we understand it from the FARMER's point of view as the time 2 PREPARE the soil 4 sowing the seed. We cannot just dig a hole and throw in the seed and hope it will produce, no; we must FIRST PREPARE the soil, by removing the rocks, debree and make it as soft and ready 2 ensure that the newborn seed has a chance against the enemy called 'Weeds.'  Much like we have eaten dinner, but now it's time once more 2 do the dishes in order 2 use them again next meal.   After the Farmer prepares the soil, which is the most difficult part but also the most needed, as most of us who hate 2 sleep can testify lol, now it is time 2 surrender 2 the next Season;

SPRING is like the SEED being planted, and when all Life comes alive, the birds begin 2 sing their songs and once again we see the snow melted and new buds opening on the trees with their brilliant yellow hue of cheerful sun after a long and cold wintery isolation of being indoors. Have u ever noticed how one day u look and bright beautiful lime green leaves are filling the empty branches of a tree, only 2 discover just how fast things change? So it is with SPRING, it comes as quickly as as must now surrender 2 it's next Season;

SUMMER is the maintenance of what is growing, it is also the most difficult like Winter but in terms of physical development rather than Winter's 'under-ground' activities, that is why Blue people are shy and do not like the lime light, but Spring wants the opposite, alot of attention saying I'M HERE at last! Tho SUMMER is nothing but serious work, work, work, that overtime that has 2b put in or so busy no time 2 rest time. It is hot like the desert and has little or no time 4 fun. It is when things get done! Imagine if u are a driver, the yellow, red and green lights at a stop light. The Yellow would be Spring saying slow down but driving as fast as it can thru the light lol!, The green says, it's clear let's go, but the Red says, STOP! If u dont, u take the risk of an accident occuring since the other driver's on the other lanes have their own color directing them. So it is with SUMMER, So Red people appear 2b very bossy and know it all, but they have the most responsibility in life from having 2 work so hard getting the things done other cycles dont have 2 do.

Last comes AUTUMN and the cooling down with the trees sheding their leaves once more, and the winds of change again as Summer had 2 finally surrender w/o wanting 2 to AUTUMN, that is why Green people are considered the easy-going types who are calm and cool and collected no matter what is going on.

As we consider our examples, and details about the 4 Seasons, we can happily begin 2 recognize the people around us. And also understand that TIME has it's portions with each one doing it's own gifted task.  WINTER [the Cold] cannot tell SUMMER [the Hot], I'm more important than u, nor can SUMMER tell Autumn, hey I'm more important bcoz I get things done. Each Season has it's part 2 do in order 2 get ready 4 the next one, much like a Kingergardener climbs up the ladder of education until they reach time 4 Graduation. It is step by step, and each step of a miracle. So God created everything 2 NEED each other as well as being a whole in itself full of worth with beauty.

Just like each Season must surrender 2 the next, so the seconds turn 2 minutes and minutes turn 2 hours, the hours give way 2 the Day and the Days become our Week and so on...You could say we all have all 4 of the Seasons in our personality, but 'where it falls in our 4-square example of a clock, depends on how it makes us differrent from one another in terms of Seasons.  Consider meeting a person, immediately u begin 2 search how much u have 'in common' with them, only 2 marry that person, and they 'appear' 2 have 'changed.'  They did not change, they simply have their parts like the seasons play their task in life they were created 2 do.  There is much 2 discover in our Journey, I hope u have enjoyed a quick reference of the Basics of TIME.

In Part Two, we will begin 2 examine each cycle of TIME; but keeping our Key focus of the FARMER, A CLOCK and the 4 SEASONS of color will help us understand quickly what has been in front of us all along. We must give credit 2 our Creator who, w/o asking 4 admiration, but 'waiting' 4 us 2 discover all He has provided 4 us, freely 4 the taking.  THREE things will happen as we journey together in TIME:

1. You will discover who God is.
2. You will discover who you are.
3. You will discover who all your loved ones and people in your world also are,  in order 2 appreciate all our differences. Then at long last, forgiveness and tolerance can give birth, and Healing can begin 2 unfold in your life as it has in mine. Until next session, grasp Hope and Faith and do not let go if u are looking 4 answers, I promise u as one who never thought there was a reason 2 get up another day, that there is Encouragement and Hope 4 your life or the one u love that is searching also..In Baby Steps, and each step will be a miracle as u look back one day.

As A Man THINKS..

===  Years ago as I sat in my study meditating on Proverbs 23:7, I felt inspired 2 make a few simple notes. Now when things go wrong and I get down in the dumps I read "As A Man Thinks." I have read it 100s of time and it always motivates me 2 press on 4 my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Here it is:

To help over come Fear born of an inferior feeling and develop a positive mental attitude, read "As A Man Thinks" everyday until it becomes a vital part of your daily thinking, motivating a change in your life-style from fear-2-faith. Remember, God Said, "As he thinks in his heart, so is he" [Pro 23:7].

As A Man THINKS

Today I will think like a dynamic servant of God,
bcoz I am what I think.
I am not always what I think I am;
I am what I think.

I am not what I eat;
I am what I think.
Clothes do not make the man;
Thinking makes the man.

Therefore, I will keep my thought processes
active and open 2 the Voice of God.

God did not call me 2 a life of failure, but 2 a life
of success. This being so, I cannot fail as long as I
do His Will, allowing Him 2 work in and thru me,
motivating my every thought.

Bcoz my God is a Big God, I will think big with
confidence, knowing my thoughts can never be
bigger than my God.

Today I will think like the apostle Paul when he said,
"I can do ALL things thru Christ who strengthens me"
[Phil 4:13].
