Just A Groan Will Reach God’s Throne

Romans 8:26 - Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Once, when my father was hospitalized, I remember driving as fast as I could 2 the hospital 2 see him bcoz his condition was deteriorating rapidly. I was just sobbing in my car on the way there. I didn’t know what 2 pray. So I just cried and prayed in tongues, groaning in my spirit.
I believe that at that very low point, the Holy Spirit was helping me in my weaknesses — “For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”.

The events that soon unfolded in the hospital convinced me that just a groan or sigh will reach the throne of our Abba Father.

I managed 2 reach the hospital just in time 2 clasp my father’s hand before he was wheeled in for surgery. The surgeons came out of the operating theatre some time later 2 inform my mother that they didn’t need 2 do anything after they had opened him up bcoz they discovered that “surgery” had already been done on him!

Surprised, my mother answered, “He has never been operated on. I am his wife. I should know.” Not convinced, the surgeons told my father when he regained consciousness, “We opened u up and found that surgery had already been done. Whoever did it did a perfect work.”

Equally surprised, my dad told them, “I have never had surgery done on me.”
“No, u have!” the surgeons insisted.
As my parents and the doctors continued arguing, I found myself thinking, “My goodness, I didn’t even pray for a miracle on my way 2 the hospital. Yet, a miracle has just happened!”
My friend, when we who are God’s children groan as we pray in the Spirit, the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us with groanings which will reach the throne of our Abba Father, and cause Him 2 move powerfully on our behalf!

JULY Encouragement

Spirit of Prophecy Bulletin
by Bill and Marsha Burns and Encouragement(s).

01July - In a vision I was in a heavily forested area, and the trees were so numerous that the sunshine was thin and there was a sense of foreboding and a I had a tendency 2b weighed down w/the darkness. Then, I emerged into a clearing. It was a rather large meadow filled w/grass, wild flowers, and abundant sunshine. And, I heard the Lord say that those who will believe in and trust in Him are about 2 emerge from a season of oppression. There will be a clearing away of those things that have been a burden 2 His people.

Isaiah 9:4 - For You O Lord, have broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.

01July - Later Is Here! - Decide today that u are going 2b the faithful and the wise servant.  Find out what is stealing your time from the Lord.  Serve His interests instead of your own.  Be faithful.  Be the kind of person that spends his time doing what God ha called him 2 do, taking up your cross and following Him.  Your lack of faithfulness can stop God from working in your life.  Do not wait until later 2 pray 4 others, 2 minister 2 others, 2 teach others.  Later is here!  Now is the time 2 be faithful!

Matthew 24:45  - "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, 2 give them food in due season?..

02July - Be Unreasonably Committed - If u are going 2 achieve the kind of spiritual excellence u are hungry 4, u are going 2 have 2b unreasonably committed 2 the Word of God.  To get God's Wisdom, u will have 2 do more than casually read the Scriptures a few minutes a day.  Do whatever it takes 2 totally saturate yourself w/the Word of God.  U are God's front-line assault force.  U have an enemy who is out 2 destroy u.  If u are going 2 make it thru in victory, u are going 2 have 2 put yourself in training.  This is a crucial, all-out, no-holds-barred war u are in, so be unreasonably committed!

Proverbs 4:7-9 - Wisdom is the Principle thing; Therefore get Wisdom. And in all your getting, get Understanding.  Exalt Her, and she will promote u; She will bring u honor, when u embrace her.  She will place on your head an ornament of grace;  A crown of glory she will deliver 2 u."

04July -I am going 2 make u, My people, vessels of honor. I am going 2 establish u as the people who can carry the glory of My presence. When that glory becomes a reality 2 u the manifestation of My gifts will flow from u like a river. I say, the glory is coming. The only question is whether u will carry it or not. This carrying of My glory will be as a result of your desire, your faith and the positioning of yourself b4 Me 2 do what I call u 2 do. The world will indeed C a chosen generation of priests who reveal the glory of My kingdom. The church is 2b the manifestation of My glory, a light, a city set upon a hill, says the Lord God.

04July - I had a dream in which several of us had joined or were trying 2 join an already existing organization.  There was one guy who was consistently contentious and combative, and we couldn't figure out how 2 deal w/him.  Somebody said 2 me in the process of the dream that we needed 2 consider carefully whether or not we wanted 2 go 2 war bcoz if we go 2 war we will probably get shot.  Then, I received a note from my father that said, "Make peace-not war."

Romans 12:18 - If it is possible, as much as depends on u, live peaceably w/all men.

05July - The realization struck me that we are at the end of a 2-year transition. It's been a rather difficult 2 years w/lots of changes, and we have 2 let go of things that represented safety and security 2 us. As I pondered this time of transition, I could C that God has brought us 2 a higher and yet a more profound place in Him that we would not have discovered or achieved apart from this transition. And, I rejoiced. Then, I heard the voice of the Lord: Beloved, u have indeed completed this time of transition, but there are many others who are not quite in the same cycle and await their time of conclusion. I speak 2 those who still cannot C the light at the end of the tunnel, and I tell u that I Am w/u 2 bring u also 2 a higher place in Me. Your security is not in worldly positions or things that u possess, but in your eternal relationship w/Me. Trust Me 2 bring u thru.

Psalms 106:9 -  He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it dried up; so He led them thru the depths, as thru the wilderness.

06July - Beloved, I will reveal strongholds that have kept u from living in victory, but u must ask 4 that revelation. You must seek Me 4 understanding and complete freedom. I have made a way. The blood of Christ was payment received 4 your liberty in every phase of kingdom life. Use this time 2 break away from all that has kept u from life in abundance, says the Lord.

John 10:10  - "The thief does not come except 2 steal, and 2 kill, and 2 destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

07July - I will continue 2 show u by example and thru your circumstances the weapons that have been formed against u. But, I will also make it very clear 2 u the weapons that I have given u 2 use 2 gain the victory in every situation. The enemy has power, but u must not be afraid. I have given u the power 2 overcome all the works of darkness. Exercise your authority, says the Lord.

Luke 10:19 -  Behold, I give u the authority 2 trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt u.

08July - You may feel like u have taken 2 steps forward and one step back, but I tell u that u are not losing ground. You are on an upward progression that is being challenged by forces of evil manifesting thru your circumstances. Keep the faith and refuse 2 get discouraged or frustrated regardless of setbacks or difficulties in moving ahead. I have not left u, nor am I unaware of the details of your life, says the Lord. Trust Me 2 bring u thru.

Philippians 1:6 - being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in u will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

11July - U can either use distractions and difficulties 2 exercise your authority 2 overcome, or u can allow those things 2 interrupt the flow of the Spirit in your life. A quick evaluation will reveal whether u are walking in the Spirit or fulfilling the lusts of the flesh. It is highly beneficial 4 u 2 live in the Spirit rather than walking in the darkness of your circumstances, says the Lord.

Galatians 5:16 - I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and u shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

12July - Agitation is a weapon formed against u 2 get u off track, but u can bind the power of that weapon and maintain your peace if u will take the time 2 do so. Actively resist the temptations that come 2 express anger or impatience, and they will pass quickly. However, if u act on the irritation that u feel, it will lead 2 unpleasant consequences. As u continue 2 maintain self-control u will gain spiritual freedom, says the Lord.

Matthew 16:19 - "And I will give u the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever u bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever u loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

13July - You're feeling off balance and out of touch, but I tell u that as u spend time in My presence u will be refreshed and renewed. Take the time 2 come 2 Me 4 restoration. I will touch u, strengthen u, and empower u 2 do all that I have given u 2 do and 2b all u are called 2b. Don't doubt My ability and willingness 2 lift u up and infuse u and rejuvenateu with the life of the Spirit. All u have 2 do is come, says the Lord.

John 6:63 - It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak 2 u are spirit, and they are life.

14July - I will take u step by step, step by step into the truth of My Word and bring u thru 2 victory. Let Me direct your steps and give u the wisdom necessary 2 overcome the works of the flesh and the attacks of the evil one. You were created 2b My sons [and daughters], children of royalty, w/the power of the Spirit. Rise up and take your position in faith 2 win every battle by grace, says the Lord.

Romans 8:14 - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

15July - Open your eyes and C all that I am showing u, and open your ears 2 hear what I am speaking 2 u. Am I not able 2 open the blind eyes and unstop the deaf ears? Yes, and I will also do this in the realm of the Spirit so that u can understand the work of My kingdom. I want 2 reveal 2 u the authority and power available 2 u 2 gain victory in everything. When u begin 2 C and hear u can activate your faith 2 demonstrate the excellence that is yours by the Holy Spirit, says the Lord.

Luke 4:18 - The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, bcoz He has anointed Me 2 preach the gospel 2 the poor; He has sent Me 2 heal the brokenhearted, 2 proclaim liberty 2 the captives and recovery of sight 2 the blind, 2 set at liberty those who are oppressed.

16JUL - I AM the Lord who watches over u. Have u forgotten that I know u? I know your troubles. I know those things that u struggle with. I know those things that u think about and the things that u set yourself 2 do. I know your motives and your attitudes. I know all about u. I know u better than u know yourself. I am leading and guiding u. I have never left u nor will I ever forsake u. I know all the things that are b4 u; the things that are yet unfulfilled. I know what the enemy is planning 3 u. And, bcoz I know all of these things I am able 2 work on your behalf, and I am able 2 bring u through the storms and through the valleys of desperation and thru the wars that u encounter. I AM able 2 bring u into the place of liberty and victory if u will believe in Me, trust in Me, walk with Me, says the Lord.

16JUL - You are in a short season of adjustment when u will have opportunities 2 make changes that will more accurately meet your needs and requirements. Stay calm in this time and refuse 2 allow stress 2 steal your peace. Wisdom is being poured out in abundance so that u can find the most effective way 2 deal with every situation, says the Lord. Let Me lead u.
Psalms 29:11 The LORD will give strength 2 His people; the LORD will bless His people with Peace.

18July - Angels are on the move, 4 there is a stirring in the heavenlies as well as upon the earth. It is now time 4 the glorious church 2 arise. It is now time 4 u 2 be overcomers and more than conquerors. It is time 4 the kingdom of God 2 manifest more fully in your life than ever u have experienced. It is now the time of rejuvenation and restoration. It is the time that I have appointed and am now bringing it 2 pass. Warring spirits are coming in 2 do battle w/u and 2b w/u so u can defeat the enemy. All of heaven has waited 4 this moment and this process 2 begin--where angelic forces join forces w/God's creation, the men and women of the earth, that victory might flow forth; that victory might be yours; that victory shall become an overflowing stream that shall flow forth into the world; that victory will so manifest in your life so that u will never again be afraid, worried, or consider the dilemma of your circumstances. If u need healing, it shall come. If u need provision, it shall come. If u need revival, it shall come. I am pouring out kingdom glory upon the earth. I am preparing u 4 the year that is ahead of u, 4 My divine government shall come into manifestation and My rule shall be found among My people, says the Lord.

18July - I had a vision of an anchor, and I believe that it symbolizes those things that keep us from flowing w/the Holy Spirit. It is religious exercise that works against us when we have a spiritual revelation or hear the voice of God and then try 2 accomplish it thru our own efforts. There is no power in religion or self-effort, but power comes by the Holy Spirit as we cast away our anchors and abide in Him.

John 15:5 - I am the vine, u are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; 4 w/o Me u can do nothing.
19July - I have spoken 2 u in months and years past that u were being transported spiritually 2 a new plateau, and u have indeed journeyed far and gained great insight and wisdom. But, I tell u that u are now on that new plateau, which will become base camp 2 yet a higher level of revelation and service in My kingdom, says the Lord. This elevation will not take years 2 achieve, but will be an accelerated work. Prepare yourself 4 the greatest adventure of your lifetime.

Isaiah 55:9 - "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
20July - U have continued 2 progress in spiritual maturity, but u will be tempted 2 try 2 go back 2 old places and re-establish old associations. Doing that will not produce what u had hoped 4 and will only cause a greater sense of separation from the past than b4. Beloved, u do not need more disappointment. U must press on and continue 2 move higher in My kingdom and stay focused on what is important eternally. Not doing that will cost u more than u are willing 2 pay in terms of setbacks, says the Lord.

Isaiah 40:31 - But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up w/wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

21July - Beloved, refuse 2 give in 2 the frustration that has come as a result of dealing w/hindrances. Instead, set yourself 2 seek Me 4 wisdom and clarity, 4 I will give u the grace 2 accomplish what I have set b4 u, says the Lord. This is certainly not a time when u should get discouraged and give up. U are on the brink of breakthrough. Keep pushing. Keep trusting. Keep the faith!

Isaiah 58:8 - Then your light shall break forth like the morning, your healing shall spring forth speedily, and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

22July - Your overcoming is by the blood of the Lamb. U cannot overcome by the strength of your flesh; it is only by life in the Spirit when u have died w/Christ and been resurrected w/Him 2 live a godly life. Your trying 2 have victory according 2 the law will only bring frustration. Rather than trying 2 kill the flesh by the flesh, walk by faith that it is Christ in u who empowers u 2 overcome. Yield 2 the work of My Spirit, says the Lord.

Revelation 12:11 - And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives 2 the death.

25July - Let God arise and His enemies be scattered. Let the Holy One of Israel come into the camp of His people. And, may it be that as He comes He brings 2 u the understanding of His love, His peace, and His joy. And, in all of this My people your faith will be quickened and come 2 a higher place than it has ever been b4. In the quickening of your faith, My glorious church will arise 2 its position on the earth. And, out of that place of glory will flow the righteousness, power, glory, healing, and provision of Christ. All things that u, My people, need will be presented 2 u. For, I own the cattle and the gold and the silver. I will distribute 2 ea one that which u need or desire. I am the Holy One and I watch over u. Have u forgotten that I am the Shepherd that leads u beside the still waters and beside the green pastures? Have u forgotten that I have gone b4 u and made the way smooth? Have u forgotten that I have prepared the paths of your destiny and the fulfilling of that destiny as u walk on the path of life? Do not forget My benefits, says the Lord. And, do not forget that I am leading and guiding u. Do not forget these things, 4 surely u shall prevail. Write a book of remembrance that describes My goodness, says the Lord.

25July - Refuse 2 allow weariness 2 keep u from effective warfare. The enemy would love 2 make u tired or 2 have u just sit down and take a rest in the middle of a battle. I will empower u and give u the strength necessary 2 gain the victory in every circumstance, but u must trust Me 2 do so as u continue 2 press on, says the Lord.

Jeremiah 12:5 -  "If u have run w/he footmen, and they have wearied u, then how can u contend w/horses? And if in the land of peace, in which u trusted, they wearied u, then how will u do in the floodplain of the Jordan?"

26July - I continue 2 open 2 u treasurers of darkness, particularly those things that have hindered your success in a number of areas. Ask Me 4 wisdom and be sensitive 2 what I show u. If u will C, hear and obey, u will be able 2 overcome in areas in which u have failed over and over again. Let Me guide u thru the process that will lead 2 victory, says the Lord.

Deuteronomy 4:30 - "When u are in distress, and all these things come upon u in the latter days, when u turn 2 the LORD your God and obey His voice."

27July - Beloved, I once again punctuate the importance of the words of your mouth as they issue forth from the heart. Criticism, gossip, and judgment come from an embittered heart, and u know that out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. When u find yourself speaking from the pride of your heart, u must resist the devil. Set yourself 2 only speak from a pure heart, says the Lord.

Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good 4 necessary edification, that it may impart grace 2 the hearers.

28July - Criticism is a work of the enemy 2 get u 2 doubt yourself. When there is something u truly need 2 know it will come as instruction without accosting your emotions or spirit. If u are criticized u must forgive and release the offense. If u are the one criticizing someone else, u need 2 turn from that practice and ask 2b forgiven. Be at peace as much as possible, and treat one another w/respect and kindness, says the Lord.

Galatians 5:22-23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

29July - Discern your point of stress, and apply faith and trust in Me, says the Lord. Stress comes when u lack understanding and need wisdom. Ask 4 what u need, and I will give it. Refuse 2b afraid of failure, 4 I will lead u thru even the most difficult maze 2 attain your goal. But, u must rely on Me 4 guidance and direction. Do not fall back on trusting yourself or your own good ideas. Seek Me instead.

John 15:16 - "U did not choose Me, but I chose u and appointed u that u should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever u ask the Father in My name He may give u."

30JUL - TRUMPET - A new spiritual habitation is being presented 2 us, and Jesus is saying, "Come
up here, and I will show u things. Things u need 2 know. Be a watchman. Become like the
sons of Issachar who have understanding of the times and seasons."
1 Chronicles 12:32a of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, 2 know
what Israel ought 2 do...
30JUL - The stand that you have taken against the enemy is being challenged. Now you must
decide what to do about that. Will you just sit down in defeat because your ground is too hard to hold? Or, will you rise up in faith and authority to re-establish and maintain your victory? The choice is yours, but I am with you and behind you to gain and keep the victory, says the Lord. 1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world-our faith.
God bless all readers, everywhere!

Key 2 Intimacy with God

Gary Oates:Soaking:
The Key 2 Intimacy with God
Draw Near
Intimacy with God begins when we radically pursue Him with our whole heart. King David wrote, "When You said, 'Seek My face,' my heart said to You, 'Your face, O Lord, I shall seek'" (Psalm 27:8). God invites us in James 4:8 to "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you."
God is saying to us, "Seek My face! Draw near!" Our hearts are crying out, "YES!" but our flesh is screaming "NO!" The sad part is our flesh usually wins.
We are instructed in Psalm 46:10 to "Be still, and know that I am God." The wording "be still" literally means to cease from striving. It means to let go and relax, to turn down the volume of the world and listen to the quiet whisper of God. It's getting still and coming into a place of rest. It means "soaking" in His Presence. The result is that you will know He is God.
The word "know" is literally an experiential knowledge of God. It's not being still and knowing about God. It's being still and knowing God experientially. You will experience God. You will know the Presence of God.
As we focus our heart, spirit, soul, mind, and body (the whole person) on His manifest Presence, we become oblivious to the natural physical world around us.
The key is where your focus is – on the things of God or on things of this world.
Bible reading and prayer are not enough. We must take time alone with Him, not asking for anything but more of Him, more of His fullness, more of His Presence in our everyday lives.
God releases power through us as we dwell in intimacy with Him. The natural outworking of His Presence is miracles.
How to Soak in God's Presence
How do we "soak"? We soak like a sponge. Put a dry sponge in a bucket of water and slowly the water permeates the sponge. This is the same as soaking in God's Presence. The more we soak, the more we become filled with His Spirit.
I'm often asked, "What do you do in your time of seeking His Presence?" I don't have a set formula. In my life, it varies from time to time, but the basic components are as follows:
First, I go into a private room, lock the door, and get on the floor before the Lord. It doesn't matter whether u sit or lie down. What's most important is the attitude of your heart.
Second, I repent of any sin in my life and I receive God's forgiveness.
Third, I worship the Lord in both my native language (English) and in the language of the Holy Spirit.
Fourth, I do the vital prayer of Romans 6:13 that has transformed my life: "...present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God."
Fifth, I begin to recall experiences with the Lord (i.e., healings, miracles, provision) where He has manifested Himself in wonderful ways. This creates more of an expectancy and awareness of His Presence as I relive these times.
I tell the Lord: "God, I want more of You, more of Your Presence, more of Your fullness in my life. Fill me with more of You." I may repeat this statement many times as I wait on the Lord and focus on Him.
Then, I get quiet and that's when I begin to hear His voice. Many times, I begin to have visions and supernatural experiences.
The key here is learning to wait in solitude. I cannot overemphasize the importance of waiting on the Lord until I experience His manifest Presence daily. I don't come out of that private room until I have experienced His Presence.
During our soaking times, we position ourselves 2 receive impressions, nudges, quiet whispers, pictures, angelic visitations, and supernatural revelations. Here is a partial list of what 2 expect:
– Dreams (Job 33:14-16; Genesis 28:10-16)
– Visions (Daniel 7:1-3,9; Acts 16:9-10)
– Trances (Acts 10:9-17, 11:5)
– Out of body experiences (2 Corinthians 12:2-4)
– Angelic visitations (Luke 1:57,11-17; Acts 12:7-10)
– Being transported in the Spirit (Acts 8:39-40)
Experiencing the true intimate Presence of the living God will radically change your life. People describe His manifest Presence in different ways. To some, it is heat, electricity, or shaking. To others, it is lightness, peace, or weeping.
Experiencing the manifest Presence is not the goal but the gateway to the supernatural realm. It's the beginning. We go into the spirit realm where we can see Him, hear His voice, walk with Him, and be empowered by Him.
Isaiah 64:4 says God "acts for the one who waits for Him." The Amplified Bible states, "God...who works and shows Himself active on behalf of him who [earnestly] waits for Him." He's waiting on us to wait on Him.
The Cumulative Effect
Sometimes we may feel our soaking time has been unproductive. We ask, "Is it worth it?" because we see no immediate change or benefit. I realized some time ago that there is a cumulative effect that takes place when I spend time in the manifest Presence of the Lord.
From this cumulative effect, God is making a deposit into my innermost being. As I begin to give out, that anointing flows out of the deposit He had been making all along.
We must learn to come quietly into His Presence just wanting more of Him in our lives. We need to "soak in His Presence," extracting more of His fullness into those places where we are barren. The cumulative effect of spending time with the Lord will produce an increased anointing in your life. The release of that anointing will serve as a springboard to a life of miracles.
The apostle John offers Believers a mind-boggling statement in 1 John 4:17 (NASB): "...as He is, so also are we in this world."
The implication of this verse is clear – Believers should be like Him. That is next to impossible without spending quality time in His manifest Presence. We will never even understand His compassionate nature for a lost and wounded humanity without regular, daily times with Him.
Conclusion
Intimacy with God is the simple means by which we access living in the miraculous. Spending time in His manifest Presence is the discipline we must develop to access all that God has for us. And, the cumulative effect is what happens in our anointing (or gifting) to function in healing or any of the supernatural.
God's timing has come for greater works to be accomplished among His people. Press in for more of God's Presence in your own life!

TGIF: Seeing Backward

Today's Prayer
For He will command His angels concerning u 2 guard u in all your ways; they will lift u up in their hands, so that u will not strike your foot against a stone. ~ Psalm 91:11-12. God, this is one of my favorite comforts from your Word. I pray and trust that u will command your angels concerning me, my family, my friends, my pastors and their families, that through your power and your command guardian angels will be around about 2 protect us and lift us up so that we will not “strike our feet against stones.” Please protect us from all harm and evil. Help us remain pure and devoted 2 u. And 4 those I know and love who are fighting addictions of various types, I pray that u will give them strength and power 2 overcome and that guardian angels will protect them and keep them from stumbling. In the name of Jesus I pray and give u thanks, amen.

Seeing Backward
TGIF Today God Is First Volume 2, by Os Hillman
"O LORD, when u favored me, u made my mountain stand firm; but when u hid your face, I was dismayed" (Ps 30:7).

It is often difficult 2 recognize the hand of God when we are in the midst of adversity. We often feel God has hidden His face from us. When the Lord takes us through deep valleys, there will be fruit from the deep valley that we cannot see. You must press into Him with all u have during this time.

God uses the deep valley 2 frame our lives to create a change in our nature, not just a change in habits. The depth and width of our valley is often an indicator of the level of calling and influence we will have on others in the future. Our adversity is not just for us, but others who will be in our future path of influence. This is not very comforting when you are in the middle of the valley, but know this is a truth in the Kingdom.

It is often years later when we discover the wisdom of God and why He intentionally led us through the dark valley. Life is often lived forward, but understood backward. It is not until we are down the road and we stand on the mountain looking back at through valley that we can appreciate the terrain God has allowed us 2 scale and the spiritual deposits He has made in our life while we were there. "He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings deep shadows into the light" (Job 12:22). When you begin to realize this, you sit back and breathe a sigh of relief because you know that God was in control all along. It didn't seem like it at the time, but He was.

Do u find yourself in the valley? Now is the time 2 fully trust Him 2 guide u 2 higher ground.

Christian Character Building

Christian Character Building

Introduction
========= "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is Profitable 4 Doctrine, 4 Reproof, 4 Correction, 4 Instruction in Righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect [mature], thoroughly furnished unto all good works." 2Tim 3:16,17 KJV. These words of the apostle Paul make it very clear that the B.I.B.L.E, besides being the History of Redemption, is also our Guide 2 the Christian's walk in life.

Through this treasury of His Wisdom God guides us, in wondrous detail, so that we may live as He would have us live. No matter what our situation in life, we have at hand in the Bible God's own Word, Counselling us, Warning us, Comforting us, Strengthening us.

Sin Cannot Stop God’s Grace

Romans 5:20 - Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,

When a top executive is charged 4 corruption or a church minister is caught in the very act of adultery, u will probably hear the phrase “fallen from grace” being used of them. We have come 2 believe that when someone falls into sin, he falls from grace.

But God wants us 2 know that when someone falls into sin, he does not fall from grace — he actually falls into grace!

Thank God His grace is there 2 put the person back on his feet.

The Bible tells of prostitutes and corrupt tax collectors — sinners — who fell into God’s grace and got back on their feet. If the sin in their lives could stop God’s grace, they would never have been able 2 receive His grace of healing, help and power 2 live right.

Now, it is important u understand that God hates sin bcoz it destroys our lives, relationships and bodies. Sin is evil! But sin is not overcome by us talking about it and relying on our willpower 2 overcome it. It takes God’s grace 2 destroy sin.

In fact, it is when u are under His grace that sin has no dominion over u. (Romans 6:14) It is when u see His grace in providing His Son 2 put away your sins and make u eternally righteous that sin will not dominate u.

The devil will say 2 u, “You think that u can still expect God’s blessings after what u did this morning?” That is when u must remind yourself that Christ alone is your perfection and righteousness. All of us have faults. None of us deserve

God’s blessings. That is why we plead the grace of God, which is His unearned, unmerited and undeserved favor toward us.

Sin does not and cannot stop God’s grace. If His grace can be cut off by sin, Jesus would never have come 2 save us bcoz we were all terrible sinners. But praise God, “where sin abounded, grace abounded much more”!

My friend, God’s grace is bigger, deeper, wider and more powerful than all the world’s sins put together. Receive His grace right now 2 walk in total victory over that weakness or evil habit in your life!

God's PROMISES 4 Praying His Word

Introduction
=========   For those who love 'summer-time' it is hard 2 believe that there are those of us who struggle and hurt during this season. There is new revelation I have found that touches my heart about my Maker. He has taught me that when I put forth the effort 2 read HIS WORDS, He gives me promises. How amazing this is 2 me. That He would reward me just bcoz I give Him a tiny portion of the time He Himself has granted me.
I cannot take any credit 4 anything, bcoz even that He has given me.

===========================
1) The Power of Praying God's Word
===========================   IN FACING the challenging circumstances of everyday living, the B.I.B.L.E is a lifeline and a vital 'tool' 4 energizing a prayer life. God makes a precious promise about the power and effectiveness of praying His Word:

"So shall My Word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall 'not' return 2 ME void, but it 'shall' accomplish what I pease, and it 'shall' prosper in  the thing 4 which I sent it" [Isa 55:11]

This is so encouraging. God assures us that when we pray His Word and declare it as true in our life, He will do what we're asking Him 2 do.  The Bible tells us, "Death and Life are in the power of tongue [the words-we-speak]" [Pro 18:21]

There is a powerful impact whenever we align our own words with the truth of Scripture! When we pray God's Word, we are calling upon the Lor 2 honor His promises 2 breathe LIFE into our circumstances and send blessings 2 our loved ones.

These Promises Are 4 You
====================    God's Word is 'full' of promises, and is inspiration and a taste of the great things the Lord has ordained 4 your and my life.  But perhaps you have a lingering doubt when you read the promises of God's Word. "How do I know these promises are really meant 4 me?" you may wonder.
The apostle Paul seems 2 anticipate this question, how interesting; When he writes:

"Whatever things were written b4, were written 4 our learning, waiting 4 us 2 discover them; That we thru  the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have HOPE" [Rom 15:4]. The truths of Scripture were written with us in mind!

Paul says this again, repeating it's importance in 2Corinthians 1:18-20:

As God is faithful, our word 2 you was not Yes and No. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. for all the promises of God in Him are YES, and in Him Amen, 2 the glory of God thru us.
In Christ, ALL of God's promises are "YES" 2 you! Whatever you find, apply 2 yourself as Love from Him 2 you today.

====================================
2) Praying 4 Your Children and Grand-Children
====================================    IN PAUL'S 2nd LTR 2 his spiritual son Timothy, we learn that it was the powerful faith of Timothy's mother and grand-mother that helped prepare this young man 4 tremendous ministry [2Tim 1:5]. So dont underestimate the impact 'your' faith can have on 'your' children and grand-children!

Children and grand-children can be one of our greatest sources of joy. And bcoz we love them so much, we also may suffer greatly on their acct.  It's especially difficult when our children choose 2 turn their backs on the Lord and walk away from what they know 2b true and good and right. As parents or grand-parents, we may experience intense pain from their poor choices, and sometimes our hearts may break with grief.

There will be times when we'll talk thru painful, grief-filled seasons with our children--seasons when all we can do is cry out 2 God on their behalf. Thankfully, we can trust the Lord 2 draw our children 2 walk closely with Him and serve Him with their whole hearts. Yet there may be valleys we have 2 walk thru b4 we C God answer our prayers and intervene in our children's lives.

Claiming the Word
=============   During difficult times with your children, there are important principles 2 remember as you pray God's Word over your kids or grand-kids. It's really so simple!  First, ask the Lord 2 lead you 2 Scriptures 2 pray over the specific situations of your children or grand-children. Then in your quiet time, during a Sunday message, in a conversation with a close friend, or in some other way, the Holy Spirit will give you verses that you can turn into powerful prayers.

For example, one time when some friends were praying passionately 4 their child, the Lord led them 2 Jeremiah 31:16-17:
"Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; 4 your work shall be rewarded," says the Lord, "and they shall come back from the land of the enemy."

"There is hope in your future," says the Lord, "that your children shall come back 2 their own border."

When we read these words, tears of joy come. This couple had so many hours interceding on their child's behalf, weeping and broken over his situation . God used His Word 2 remind them that He had a specific plan 4 their son, and they made these verses a prayer 4 their son by inserting his name. As we align our prayers with specific promises from God's Word, the Holy Spirit will move powerfully.

More Scriptures 2 Claim
==================    There are many other great Scriptures you can use as prayers over your children and grand-children:

"Yes, I have loved [name] with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn [name]. Again I will rebuild [name], and [name] shall be rebuilt" [Jer 31:3-4].

"But now, thus says the Lord, who created [name], and who formed [name]: 'Fear not, for I have redeemed [name]; I have called [name] by name; [he/she] is Mine. When [name] pases thru the waters, I will be with [him/her]; and thru the rivers, they shall not overflow [him/her]. When [name] walks thru the fire, [he/she] shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch [him/her]' " [Isa 43:1-2].

"[Name] is poor and needy; make haste 2 help [him/her], O God! You are [name's] help and [name's] deliverer; O Lord, do not delay" [Ps 70:5].

These verses are just a sample! Ask the Lord 2 lead you 2 other specific Scriptures that He wants you 2 use as powerful prayers of intercession over your children and grand-children.

Be encouraged today 2 pray and believe God's Word over your Generations. Pray, watch, and wait 4 the Lord 2 bring about His destiny 4 their lives, and you will not be disappointed. Apply this adaptation of Isaiah 44:2-4 over yourself, your children and your grand-children:

"Thus says the Lord who made you and your children and grand-children, and who formed you from the womb who will help you: Fear not, my precious friend, 4 God  has chosen you. He will pour water on you who are thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; He will pour His Spirit on your Descendants, and His blessing on your offspring: they will spring up among the grass like willows by the water-courses. In Jesus' Name..AMEN."

===============
3) Never Give Up!
===============   THE BIBLE TEACHES that perseverance is one of the most important ingredients 4 answered prayer. According 2 Hebrews 6:12, we inherit God's promises thru 'Faith AND patience'-- not faith alone. What an amazing insight!  In Luke 18:1-8, Jesus says we "always ought 2 pray and not lose heart." He goes on 2 tell the story of a woman who wouldnt stop pounding on the judge's door until she got a response, and thats the posture we should take. Continue to pound on Heaven's door until you see the fruit from your prayers manifest in your life.

Jesus promises us:  So I say 2 you, Ask and it will be given 2 you; Seek, and you will find; Knock, and it will be opened 2 you. For everyone who asks, receives, and he who seeks, finds, and 2 him who knocks, the way will be opened [Lk 11:9-10].

The literal Greek translation of this passage says, "Ask and keep on asking..seek and keep on seeking..knock and keep on knocking." We must pray and keep on praying! We must never give up! By the time we have become exhausted, we are at the threshold of our blessing, but bcoz we give up, we feel the answer has never arrived; so never never never give up but hold on 2 the above promise.

Praying With Confidence
==================   This is true whenever we are seeking God's intervention in a troubling situation in our lives. Whether we are in need of a physical healing, a financial breakthru, a new job, or a restored relationship, we must cry out 2 God with faith and tenacity.  Scripture tells us that satan is like a restless, starving, roaring lion, pacing about and searching 4 victims 2 devour [IPe 5:8-9]. He never stops prowling, so we must never stop praying. Our prayers are our greatest weapon as we wage war on behalf of our own destiny or our loved ones. And one of our most powerful prayer weapons is our ability 2 pray God's Word.  The truth is so encouraging! What a joy 2 have confidence that when we pray the Word, God will do whatever we are asking Him 2 do. And let's be honest. when our circumstances are desperate, it's easy 2 cling 2 our own opinions about what God should do. Yet God's ways are not our ways [Isa 55:8-9], so we dont always know what is best in a certain situation. Only He knows what must happen 4 people's hearts 2 change. This is why it's so important 4 us 2 pray Scriptures over our lives and loved ones.

Let Go!
=====   When we experience difficult and painful times, there may be days when we struggle with doubt. but the Lord continuously reminds that we are HIS. He loes us so much and is always carving out great testimonies from our experiences and challenges. God asks us 2 trust Him we hold dear, and sometimes He wants us 2 'back off' so He can move in our hearts and lives. We must choose 2 'let go' and place everything in His loving hands.

Be encouraged and pray and totally surrender 'every' concern 2 God. Ask Him 2 do whatever is needed 2 bring about His Kingdom in your situation. Even when things seem 2 get worse b4 they get better, never 4get that god and His mercies are new every morning [Lam 3:21-23]. He loves you--and your loved ones--more than you can comprehend. You can trust Him 100% with your future..and theirs.

Never give up on the Lord as you ask Him 2 transform the difficult situations in your life. He is already at work, and He has a wonderful plan 2 bless you and your loved ones.  Ask and keep asking, seeking, knocking and praying. Keep believing, keep trusting, and you WILL see God's goodness and faithfulness in your life and the lives of your loved ones.

This is today's Scripture, whatever day you are reading it, it's your today Scripture promise:
Wait on the Lord and be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the Lord [Ps 27:14]!  Never give up on God, 4 He will never give up on you [Phi 1:6]!

=====================
4) Meditate on These Things
=====================    SOMETIMES when we pray, we may be expecting God 2 miraculously touch us and give us some kind of instant revelation. But God rarely taps us on the shoulder with an immediate impartation of Knowledge, Wisdom, or Understanding. Learning one of His lessons usually takes Time, Study, and Pray.

Please dont be offended by this, but 2 many Christians are like little birds in a nest, waiting impatiently 4 their mother 2 bring them food. Their little mouths are open, and they're chirping, "Hurry, hurry, we're hungry!"   Of course, little birds are helpless and cannot do anything 2 help themselves, but are we? As Believers, we cannot just passively wait 2b fed Scriptural truths by teachers and preachers. we must learn 2 feed ourselves from God's Word.  While we believe so strongly in the power of prayer, it's just as important 2 set aside focused times 4 studying God's Word. If you truly desire 2 grow in your relationship with the Lord and become more like Him, you must do this.

Applying God's Truths 2 Your Life
=========================   Many of us have access 2 a smorgasbord of Christian conventions, Bible Studies, Church Services, and TV Preachers. These 'opportunities' can be a real blessing, and many lives are changed bcoz of them. If we wanted 2, we could just go from one feasting banqueting table 2 another, bcoz God's Word is available in so many places in our country.  But if we are not careful, we can become 2 dependent on this spoon-feeding. It's possible 2 become so spiritually 'fat' that we're useless 4 anything productive in God's Kingdom.

Just hearing a message and agreeing with it does not mean we actually learned it. We can admire what was said and even accept God's truth, but until we act upon it, we haven't allowed His truth 2 become a reality in our lives. we need 2 stop, meditate on what we've heard, and begin applying it 2 our lives b4 moving on 2 the next lesson God has in store 4 us.  Most Believers dont practice Scripture meditation, and so they lose much of the benefit they could be gaining from what they read in the Bible or hear preached. The Parable of the Sower in Matthew 13:19 describes this condition:

"When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away, what was sown in his heart."

This story is Jesus' explanation of God's Word being sown into our hearts. He describes different types of soil 2 represent our various human reactions 2 God's truth. According 2 this verse, when Scripture doesn't become an integral part of our life, the enemy comes and immediately 'steals' it from us. His goal is 2 rob us of the most important source of our spiritual growth: God's Word.

The Special Role of Meditation
=======================   Keep in mind that transcendental meditation [an Eastern religious practice] is very different from Biblical meditation. While transcendental meditation is a humanistic mental process involving chanting and incantation, Biblical meditation focuses solely on the Lord and His Word.  This really shouldn't be so controversial, since Scripture clearly tells us 2 meditate:

This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe 2 do according 2 all that is written in it. For then you will make you way prosperous, and then you will have good success [Joshua 1:8].

Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely 2 them, that your progress may be evdent 2 all [ITimothy 4;15].

Mediate within your heart on your bed, and be still [Psalm 4:4].

Finally, brethren, whatever thngs are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things  are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if  there is anything praiseworthy--mediate on these things [Philippians 4:8].

In all of these verses, we are instructed and encouraged 2 use our minds 2 apply the truths of God's Word 2 our lives. We are told 2 mediate on the Lord, His Word, and the things of His Kingdom.

A Common Biblical Practice
=====================   Meditation is a spiritual discipline very familiar 2 the Biblical writers:

His delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night [Psalm 1:2].

When I remember You on my bed, I mediate on You in the night watches [Psalm 63:6].

I will also meditate on all Your work, and talk of Your deeds [Psalm 77:12].

I will meditate on Your precepts, and contemplate Your ways [Psalm 119:15].

Your servant meditates on Your statutes [Psalm 119:23].

My eyes are awake thru the night watches, that I may meditate on Your Word [Psalm 119:148].

I meditate on  all Your works; I muse on the work of Your hands [Psalm 143:5].

I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works [Psalm 145:5].

A book of remembrance was written b4 Him 4 those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His Name [Malachi 3:16].

This is an important tool as we pursue greater intimacy with the Lord and greater application of His Word in our lives.

Setting Aside Special Time
====================   When we devote extended time 2 meditation, it can be wonderful!  Some meditation time can be focused on prayer, but some of it can be spent just reflecting on the many questions you want 2 ask God. Taking the time 2 think these thru and look up what the Bible has 2 say about them can cause meditation 2 feel like a luxury, and it will create an even greater hunger 4u 2 spend time doing this in the future.  Altho it may not be easy 2 find time 4 meditation, this is worth the fight 4u 2 keep growing in your relationship with the Lord.   I also enjoy meditating on God's Word and searching 4 His answers 2 the Q's on my heart. It's a wonderful chance 4 me 2 be my true self and experience peace and safety in His Presence. I always come away relaxed and refreshed from this special time of communion with Him.

Finding a Special Place
=================   Just as we need 2 set aside special times 4 prayer and meditation, it also helps 2 have a special place where we can get away 4 undistracted fellowship with the Lord. This is beautifully portrayed in a short story by David Wolfe entitled, "Teaching Your Children About God":

There was a Rabbi who had a son. It was soon noticed by the man that the young boy was often in the forest near their house. The boy's father had become worried since he wasnt sure of the dangers his son might face.  He decided 2 speak 2 the boy about this, and asked him why he was spending so much time alone in the forest. The boy replied that he was going there 2 find God.

The Rabbi, happy 2 hear that his son was in search of the Divine, noted that the boy didnt have 2 go into the woods 2 find God, "Bcoz," he added, "God is the same everywhere."    The boy's answer?    "Yes, Dad, but I am not."

It's easy 2 identify with the boy. Some people may not understand why you love 2 get away with your Bible and be alone as you meditate on God's Word...but thats ok. Alone time with Him provides a fantastic opportunity 4u 2 truly be 'you.'  God can be so real 2 you when you're alone with Him. You can cry or laugh, and you dont have 2 explain yourself 2 anyone! You can clear away all the cobwebs from your heart and mind, and then truly experience and hear from the Lord as you meditate on His Word.

Know this: Absolutely none of the time you spend with the Lord and His Word will be wasted. You always will come away renewed and refreshed!  God Bless You today as you give this gift 2 yourself.

* Your Word is a lamp 2 my feet and a light 2 my path.  [Psalm 119:105]

5)  The Bible: Your Guide For Life
==========================    HAVE YOU EVER been on a road trip 2 a strange city...w/o a map or a GPS unit? If so, you know what it feels like 2 lose your sense of direction.  Thankfully, God has given us a wonderful roadmap 4 our lives: the B.I.B.L.E. Its wisdom covers every situation and area of life, and we can be confident that its advice s reliable, bcoz it is God's Word 2 us!  God describes His Word as Nutritious Spiritual Food that will help you grow stronger in your relationship with Him: "Desire the pure milk of the Word, that you may grow thereby" [IPet 2:2].

01.  Forever, O Lord, Your Word is settled in Heaven. [Ps 119:89
02.  The Commandment is a lamp, and the Law a light; reproofs of instruction are the way of life. [Pro 6:23].
03.  Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors. [Ps 119:24].
04.  Man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord [Deu 8:3].
05.  How can a young man cleanse his way?  By taking heed according 2 Your Word. [Ps 119:9].

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
The statues of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
More 2b desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Morever by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is a great reward.

06.  Your Word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. [Ps 119:11].

07.  Jesus said 2 those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My Word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." [John 8:31-32].

08.  No prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. [2Pe 1:20-21].

09.  This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe 2 do according 2 all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. [Joshua 1:8].

10.  All Scripture is given my inspiration of God, and is profitable 4 doctrine, 4 reproof, 4 correction, 4 instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped 4 every good work. [2Tim 3:16-17].

Prayer:  HEAVENLY FATHER, I want 2 know You better. Teach me Your Word. Reveal Your truth. Show me more about who You are and who I am IN You.

Thank You 4 giving me the Bible as my roadmap 4 life. May Your Word and Your Spirit guide me into the abundant life You've already planned 4 me!  In Jesus Name. AMEN.

* The Lord is far from the wicked, but He hears the prayer of the righteous.
Pro 15:29

==========================
6) God Wants 2 Answer Your Prayers
==========================   GOD IS YOUR HEAVENLY FATHER. Like any good father, He wants 2 bless u and meet your needs.  After Jesus described how an earthly father wants 2 give good gifts 2 His children, He added, "How much more will your Father who is in Heaven give good things 2 those who ask Him!"  (Matthew 7:9-11).  Instead of being fearful or timid when we approach God in prayer, the Bible says, "Let us therefore come 'boldly' 2 the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace 2 help in time of need" [Hebrews 4:16].  Whatever your need today, u can boldly approach your Heavenly Father 2 intervene in your situation!

1.  Ask, and it will be given 2 u; seek, and u will find; knock, and it will be opened 2 u. For everyone who asks, receives, and he who seeks finds, and 2 him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among u who, if his son asks 4 bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks 4 a fish, will he give him a serpent? If u then, being evil, know how 2 give good gifts 2 your children, how much more will your Father who is in Heaven give good things 2 those who Ask Him! [Matthew 7:7-11].

2. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give u the desires of your heart [Psalm 37:4].

3. You do not have becoz you do not ask [James 4:2].

4. The Lord is near 2 all who call upon Him, 2 all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear (respect) Him; He also will hear their cry and save them [Psalm 145:18-19].

5. This is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according 2 His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him [IJohn 5:14-15].

6.  Men always ought 2 pray and not lose heart. [Luke 18:1].

7. Whatever things u ask in prayer, believing, u will receive. [Matthew 21:22].

8. If 2 of u agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done 4 them by My Father in Heaven. [Matthew 18:19].

9. Whatever you ask In My Name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son [John 14:13].

10. If you abide in ME, and My Words abide in u, u will ask what u desire, and it shall be done 4 u [John 15:7].

11. Call 2 ME, and I will answer u, and show u great and mighty things, which u do not know [Jeremiah 33:3].

12. Whatever we ask we receive from Him, bcoz we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight [IJohn 3:22].

13. With God ALL things are possible [Mark 10:27].

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You 4 all the wonderful promises in Your Word! Thank You 4 being faithful 2 meet the needs of Your Children when they cry out 2 You in faith.

Teach me more of Your Word, and draw me into a more intimate relationship with You. Help me hear the Voice of Your Sweet Holy Spirit more distinctly when I pray. Let me have the patience and persistence I need 2 wait upon You 4 the breakthroughs I seek.  In Jesus powerful Name. AMEN.

John 11:41–42 - 41… And Jesus lifted up His eyes & said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. 42And I know that You always hear Me…

After Jesus had said these words, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And the man who had been dead for 4 days came out of his tomb!

This is one of the greatest miracles that Jesus performed. Lazarus had been dead for 4 days when Jesus raised him 2 life. Wouldn’t u agree that death is indeed an extreme problem? Having no money in the bank, being sick & losing your job, bad as they are, are not as bad as being dead!

But what I want u 2 see is this: If Jesus, in the most extreme of problems, shows us that the solution is still, “Father, I thank You,” then how much more should we thank God in the midst of the less serious problems we face. If thanksgiving can raise the dead, then let us give thanks in spite of the negative circumstances & we will see victory.

Unfortunately, we tend 2 do the opposite — murmur & complain. But murmuring & complaining only magnify the problem. Thanksgiving, on the other hand, is the language of faith which pleases God. I am not saying that we give thanks 4 the problems we have. No, we thank God that He is our answer & that He has already given every blessing 2 us. (Ephesians 1:3) “But Pastor Prince, what I have is so little.”

My friend, thank God 4 the little u have & it will multiply. Jesus thanked His Father 4 the 5 barley loaves & 2 small fish, a little boy’s lunch, & they were multiplied 2 feed more than 5,000 people with 12 baskets full of leftovers [fragments]! (John 6:8–13) And notice that when the Holy Spirit talked about this event again, He specifically mentioned the Lord giving thanks — “the place where they ate bread after the Lord had given thanks”. (John 6:23) The Holy Spirit seemed 2b more pleased with the act of giving thanks than the miracle of multiplication or the 12 baskets full of leftovers.

Beloved, the more u thank God, the more u please Him. What little u have will be multiplied & whatever is dead in your life will be raised 2 life!

Good Success Is In Your Mouth

Joshua 1:8 - This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but u shall meditate in it day and night… For then u will make your way prosperous, and then u will have good success.

I had always wondered why the Torah (the first 5 books of Moses) is read out loud by the Jews. Then, a Jewish Christian told me that 4 generations, they read God’s Word out loud bcoz of Joshua 1:8 — “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but u shall meditate in it day and night…”

The word “meditate” in English means 2 ponder. But in Hebrew, it is the word hagah, which means 2 utter or mutter under your breath. In other words, when u meditate on God’s Word, u speak forth or COFESS His Word instead of just giving it mental assent.

My friend, hagah God’s Word by confessing verses in the areas that u are believing God 4 breakthroughs. When I was working in sales, I confessed verses like, “Honor the Lord with your possessions, and with the firstfruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty…” (Proverbs 3:9–10) In the 1st year, I became the top salesman in my company! My way was made prosperous and I enjoyed good success.

“Pastor Prince, I am waiting for God 2 make my way prosperous.”

No, the Bible says that YOU will make your way prosperous WHEN YOU hagah God’s Word. So speak forth verses in the areas which u want 2 see breakthroughs and u will have good success.

Some people have success that destroys them — u don’t see them in church anymore and their family members don’t get 2 see them either. That is bad success. But when u hagah God’s Word, u will have good success that does not destroy u.

Now, confessing God’s Word does not move God 2 do things 4 u. It is not a formula. God had already moved when He gave up Jesus 2 die 4 u. However, when u confess His Word, it moves YOU from a position of doubt 2 faith. It moves your heart from a position of “Is it true?” 2 “I believe it!” When that happens, “u will make your way prosperous, and then u will have good success”!

2 of 31 Reasons People Do Not Receive Their Financial Harvest

Introduction
========   REASON 02:  MANY PEOPLE NEVER DREAM BIG ENOUGH 2 REQUIRE A FINANCIAL MIRACLE.
                                                                                         Deck The Trail
Some people consider mere survival a success.
Five dollars an hour is enough 4 them.  They have no great dreams.  Their long-term plans are 2 attend a movie next week.  They lack Vision.  They do not dream of creating an Orphanage for 1,000 children; printing one million Bibles 4 China, or building a television station in a great city.  Many people do not even care that their child ever attends college or not.  They simply want enough money 2 go down 2 Denny's and buy 3 pancakes and 2 eggs.  That is their idea of a grand slam in the game of life.
Their goal is 2 get thru the day.  Most people never taste the surging, powerful and revolutionary Spirit life.  They remind me of the singer drawing his last breath in life, "One day at a time, sweet Jesus!  That is all I'm asking U 4."  Sadly, that is the condition of millions today.
     Common people set common goals.
     Uncommon achievers set uncommon goals.
This cancer of indifference is contagious.  It will destroy every ounce of passion surging thru your veins.  Maybe this has happened 2 u.  There is nothing big you are trying 2 do any more w/your life.  U are not trying 2 feed the hungry.  U are not trying 2 reach 1 million people in China w/Bibles.  U feel nothing when your pastor tells u the vision he sees 4 the Church and your involvement.  Nothing is driving u.  Nothing is forcing u away from your present situation.  U have adapted 2 the common life...while the uncommon achiever within is screaming 4 attention.
One of the most extraordinary achievers in my generation has been Oral Roberts.  I will never 4get a statement he once made, "The most dangerous time in your life is when u do not have a need."  That is when self sufficiency, like a cancerous growth, begins 2 form on your life.  Smugness seeps into your system.  U think God is unnecessary.  Your faith becomes unused.
Oh my friend,  listen 2 me today!  If this is happening 2 u, run 4 your life.
Get a  future so big that today looks tiny.  U see, when God gives u a dream, it will be bigger than your present paycheck.  it will require a miracle.
If your dream does not require God, it is not really a God-given dream.  If God gets involved w/your dream, He becomes the only means 2 achieve it.
You are commanded 2 become more.  Increase is expected of u.  Read the unforgettable story of the wicked and slothful servant that Jesus discussed in Matthew 25.  When he refused 2 use his talent and gifts, a curse came upon him bcoz he did not multiply.  "Take therefore the talent from him" cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matthew 25:30).
Listen 2 the incredible first chapter of the holy ancient writings, "And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it." (Genesis 1:28).
When I talk 2 u about a financial harvest, I am seeing something bigger than going out 2 eat at a restaurant twice a week.  I am talking about the supernatural abundant life...I am talking about living in the center of your faith, not the edges.
I had an experience at the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport many years ago.  As I spoke 2 the waitress about her finances, she tossed her hair and said, "I do not like all that preaching about money."
"Would u not like 2 have more money?" I asked.
"No!" she replied angrily, "that is what is wrong w/the world today.  Everybody is wanting more and more and more.  I have enough 4 me and my son.  That is all I need, and I am happy!"
I paused.  Then, I looked right into her eyes and said,   "Have u ever seen any children on TV starving 2 death bcoz of a famine in their country?"  "Yes," she said.
"Have u ever really wished u could help them in a significant way?"  She said impulsively and quickly, "Oh, many times I have wished..." and then her voice trailed off.  She stopped.  It hit her.
That is what a financial harvest is all about.  Not merely being blessed, but becoming an instrument of blessing the hurting around u.
Financial harvest is much bigger than simply being able 2 write out a check 4 your car payment on time.  It is much more powerful than being able 2 order and extra bag of french fries 4 your children at McDonald's.
God is looking 4 Golden Connections on earth.  He wants somebody willing 2 use their faith 4 super natural events on this planet.
Get a dream big enough 2 require the supernatural intervention of God.  Get a dream big enough 2 require every ounce of faith present in your system.  If u fail 2 birth the dream God has planted in u like a Seed, u will become angry and bitter.  U will lash out at others who are taking giant steps in a small world.  U will start talking like a victim instead of a Victor.
Faith is confidence in God.  it requires an INSTRUCTION.  Faith is activated by needs.  When u really do not have a great need in your life, that is a dangerous Season.  U will be tempted 2 live life w/o knowing God.  When u fail 2 reach 4 God, u become cut off from all supply, the Source.
"Without faith it is impossible 2 please Him: 4 He that cometh 2 God must believe that He is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6).
Always remember this:  the day that u say, "I have enough,"  the extra wave of blessing goes elsewhere 2 someone who is standing w/arms outstretched toward Heaven shouting, "I am expecting a supernatural wave of blessing."
That is one of the reasons 1000's are not receiving a significant and supernatural financial harvest in their daily life.

What Have U Been Saying - LIFE or DEATH from Your Own Lips?

Psalm 91:2 - I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge & my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”

When a great storm arose as Jesus & His disciples were in a boat on the Sea of Galilee, He did not say 2 His disciples, “The storm is here 2 teach us courage.” Instead, He took authority over the storm & said, “Peace, be still!” And there was a perfect calm. (Mark 4:39)

When He met the widow of Nain whose only son had died, & on another occasion, the two sisters whose brother Lazarus & died, He didn’t tell them, “God wanted 2 take him home.” No, He spoke 2 the dead son: “Young man, I say 2 u, arise.” (Luke 7:14) And standing outside Lazarus’ tomb, He said, “Lazarus, come forth!” (John 11:43) And both men came back 2 life.

What have u been saying about your situation?

When u feel the pain in your body, don’t say of the Lord, “God wants me sick 2 teach me 2 trust Him more.” Instead, say, “Lord Jesus, I thank You that by Your stripes I was/am healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)

While trying 2 make ends meet, don’t say of the Lord, “The Lord keeps me poor 2 keep me humble.” Instead, say, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)

And if u have an intimidating boss at work, don’t say, “The Lord is my patience, I will endure.” Instead, say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do 2 me?” (Hebrews 13:6)

We are living in the last days when there are terrorist attacks & deadly viruses lurking around, & the world is afraid. But we will not speak negative words & be fearful like the people of the world. Instead, we will speak God’s Word & reign over these things. Like the psalmist, we will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge & my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.”

So find out what God’s Word says about your situation, believe it & declare it. And bcoz God’s Word cannot return 2 Him void (Isaiah 55:11), u will see what u believe[believing = my Faith] & confess [confession = my Action] come 2 pass [u will C it]!
