Remember the Promises of God

Remember the Promises of God and Not the Threats of the Enemy
With the holidays quickly coming upon us, we must take the time 2 reflect on the promises of God, and not the threats of the enemy! Remember the destiny that He has for each one of us. You may not know yours yet, but keep pressing in, rise above your circumstance, and He will reveal it. You press in and you rise above your circumstance by keeping your focus on Him. Do not focus on the loss, focus on Him and stay in His glory!

The Lord revealed Himself 2 Samuel in a time when His voice was rare. First Samuel 3 talks about Eli, but how Samuel stayed in His presence, not running ahead of Him but waiting on Him. Samuel was not consumed or caught up in the circumstances. He watched the defiling of the priesthood in the temple, but he didn't let that affect him!

Daniel 7 talks about the visions in Daniel's dream. It was a dream that bothered him and troubled his spirit. However, and this is key... regardless of the visions, regardless of the prophecy of devastation to come to the earth, verse 18 says: "But the saints of the Most High shall receive the Kingdom, and possess the Kingdom forever, even forever and ever."

Friends, that is us! WE will possess the Kingdom forever!

"And He changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and raises up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding." Daniel 2:21

Daniel 2:21 decrees that He removes kings throughout the world. Look around you – massive changes are taking place in governmental leadership with kings, judges, presidents, prime ministers, even families. It doesn't matter what label we have put on it, God changes the times and seasons. HE sets up kings and HE replaces them. We must recognize that a change is now, for the door opens both ways: whether it is for good or for evil.

When Christ came through the womb of a woman, a breaking forth took place that changed the course of the world. We need a breakthrough to go forth that will change the world through you and through me. When the Holy Spirit indwells fully in us is when change happens, for destiny goes before us. It is the Spirit who gives us the wisdom, understanding and revelation to discern the precepts, times and seasons. It is then that we are able to walk filled with His love, peace and joy.

The Kingdoms of the World
In Luke 4:1-13, we see how satan tempts Jesus with the offer of dominion over all the kingdoms of the world... Jesus rejects this proposal. Jesus' Kingdom in this age is not a kingdom of this world (John 18:36-37). He refuses to seek a kingdom for Himself by the worldly methods of compromise, earthly power, political maneuvering, external violence, popularity, honor and glory.

Jesus' Kingdom is a spiritual Kingdom ruling in the hearts of His people, who have been taken out of the kingdoms of this world. As a Heavenly Kingdom, we can operate and maintain in this realm but it comes with a cost. It is gained through suffering, self-denial, humility, and meekness. It does require giving our bodies as a living and Holy sacrifice (Romans 12:1-2). Fasting is a key here that enables us to stay on target; we then know we have complete devotion and obedience to God whenever we are struggling with spiritual weapons against sin, temptation, and satan (Ephesians 6:10-20). It means as Christians we resist conforming to this world.

"But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added 2 u."Matthew 6:33

Those who follow Christ are urged to seek, above all else, His Kingdom and His righteousness. The word seek here implies being continually absorbed in a search for something or to diligently search for something. In this passage here Jesus points out His Kingdom and His righteousness in His Kingdom. We must seek earnestly to have the Ruler and power of God demonstrated in our lives. I pray every day that God's Kingdom will come in the mighty power of the Holy Spirit to save sinners, to destroy the demonic, to heal the sick, and to magnify the name of our Lord. King Jesus come and take Your rightful seat of authority withi

Your house.
Till the end,

The Year of the War Horse

John L. MooreGreetings all,
2012 is going to be the year of the War Horse, but to understand this we must first understand what a war horse is. In years past, when cavalries were common, generals would lead their troops into battle mounted on their "chargers." From Bucephalus to Traveler, famous chargers left their marks on history.

Horses have not been widely used in battle since World War I though both horses and mules saw limited use in World War II. They have been barely used since then though Special Forces adapted to the use of horses in the early stages of the war in Afghanistan.

My hometown of Miles City, Montana was historically a famous source for cavalry horses. Fort Keogh, located just west of town, was one of the primary U.S. Remount Stations during World War I. In fact, it can be argued that more horses destined for warfare have been shipped from Miles City, Montana than anywhere. The only other place that could rival us would be Fort Robinson in Nebraska. Fort Keogh was named for Captain Myles Keogh who died with Custer at the Little Big Horn. But, it was Keogh's horse, Comanche, that though severely wounded, was the lone survivor of Custer's Last Stand. Custer's horse, incidentally, was named "Vic."

The U.S. Remount program had a large influence in this area and throughout the West when the government upgraded ranch bloodlines by importing blue-blooded horses from the east to cross on western range mares. The history of the Remount Service is chronicled in the book War Horse by my friend Phil Livingston (co-authored by Ed Roberts). Another book, Horse Soldiers, tells the story of the Special Forces using horses in Afghanistan, and of course, some of you have already seen the Stephen Spielberg film, War Horse, which is adapted from a children's story set during World War I.

Chargers vs. the War Horse
In the photo below is our grandson, Creed Alexander Ferguson, on our retired gelding "Shiloh Glory." Shiloh, as we call him, was born in 1985 during the height of our first home-church ministry. His dam was a registered Quarter Horse mare with famous running bloodlines. This "bottom side" – as the mare's pedigree is called in America – carried the blood of Rocket Bar, Hard Twist, Go Man Go, and other famous sprinters. She had the blood of "chargers."
Shiloh Glory
But, we must understand that a "charger" and a "War Horse" are not necessarily the same thing today.
We all know "Chargers" of sorts. And, if we are humble, many of us can confess to being Chargers. Chargers are warlike, militant, martial, and confident. They rush straight ahead at the slightest hint of battle. Famous battles, including Fetterman's Massacre in Wyoming, have been lost because Chargers charged ahead prematurely.

Chargers are great at arousing the troops, drawing their swords, blowing the bugle, and spurring straight into combat. They are not so great at planned tactics, strategy, and coolness under fire. A Charger often knows only how to charge, but a true War Horse knows how to handle himself in combat.

The "top side" of Shiloh Glory's pedigree is all Remount blood. His sire, Gold N Glory was by Mizpah Glory, and all this blood traces back to a once well-established Remount program south of Miles City.

Years ago we entertained a young woman from ABC Sports. She was a top rider on the east coast jumper circuit. The first time she rode Shiloh, who was a young five-year-old at the time, she called him a "war horse." A good rider, no matter what their discipline, knows it when they are mounted on a war horse. "Shiloh" has many meanings in the Hebrew. It was, of course, a meeting place with God, but the word – derived from its root, Strong's #7951 – can mean "safety, tranquility, happiness, and prosperity." Our Shiloh, the gelding above, was officially retired in 2010. We took him out of retirement briefly this summer for the grandkids, but war horses are not baby-sitters. Even in his advanced years, Shiloh's heart beats for the charge. He listens for bugles, not lullabies.

Actually, I considered putting Shiloh down this fall. His knees are arthritic and he gets thin in cold weather, but it seemed, in spite of all odds, that Shiloh was to see the year 2012. Because 2012 is the year of the War Horse.

All prey animals, but especially horses, have a "fight or flight" instinct. The "charge straight ahead" attitude of many "Chargers," can actually be a flight instinct rather than a fight instinct. It is not uncommon for insecure people to mask their insecurities with aggressiveness. Again, it is not the white-hot charge that is a measure of boldness as it is the calm perseverance of composure under fire.

2012, for the Body of Christ, will be the Year of the War Horse. But make no mistake about it, it will not be the rash and brash who are ridden to victory. It will be the calm, collected, and cooly courageous.
"Sleep, soldiers! still in honored rest
Your truth and valor wearing;
The bravest are the tenderest, --
The loving are the daring."
from The Song of the Camp
by Bayard Taylor.

Day 01 - Psalm Healing - Feeding The Soul

Introduction:
=========     Nothing heals our soul [our Mind, Will and Emotions] like reading a Psalm and a Proverb a day. It takes just a few moments but reaps a great reward! So today, feed your soul, the world is so busy, this is a Gift you give 2 yourself. Love yourself today, give yourself permission to love yourself. You invest in so many other people, begin 2012 by investing in yourself.

Feeding The Soul... In the Psalms

Psalm 1 - The Way of the Righteous and the end of the Wicked -

BLESSED is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,  Nor stands in the path of sinners,  Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;

2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD,   And in His law he meditates day and night.

3  He shall be like a Tree Planted by the rivers of water,  That brings forth its fruit in its season,  Whose leaf also shall not wither'  And whatever he does shall Prosper.

4   The ungodly are not so,  But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

5  Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,  Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6  For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,  But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

25 Kingdom Initiatives for 2012

Robert RicciardelliAs we move into the new year, I want 2 share 25 key Kingdom initiatives that I feel are significant for every Believer. I am hopeful that these will confirm some things the Lord has already been showing u, as well as encourage u 2 pray into these initiatives for your own lives and for the Body of Christ. I pray that each of us would ask the Father 2 reveal 2 us our part in the Body, as we seek Him for guidance for His will 2b done through us. May the Lord Kingdomize your life in amazing ways in 2012 to further expand His Kingdom and His glory upon the earth.

1. Give 2 Caesar (government) what is Caesar's, and give 2 God what is His, which is our very lives. Jesus was consumed with His Father's Kingdom being brought 2 the earth. We must focus on Christ and His Kingdom rather than being overly concerned with political processes. Pray for governmental change, but let's look 2 God and not government 2 provide for us.

2. God is raising up new leaders who will stand for righteousness in the realms of government. This generation of Daniels and Josephs will continue to take their place in leading nations with Father's influence, presence, and wisdom in governmental offices.

3. Father continues to shake all foundations that are not built upon the Rock of Himself. Stand out with His light in the midst of the shaking all around us.

4. Utilize what we do have and be busy doing what we must do. Surrender all paralyzing fear and worrying about what we don't have or cannot do.

5. Understand and activate true repentance in every area of our lives, truly turning away from sin instead of just feeling sorry for our patterns of sin.

6. Swiftly move 2 forgiveness for every wrong committed against us. Allow His presence to eradicate bitterness from the depths of our souls. Forgive ourselves and move on past the shame simply because Jesus has forgiven us, and His work in forgiveness is complete and has made us whole.

7. We are not victims, for in Christ we are victorious. Choose to not ever live as a victim, because the revelation of Christ and His grace suffices for us daily. Live as a victor and flee from the victim mindset.

8. Let's accept and believe with all of our heart, soul, and mind that Jesus loves us, accepts us, and is for us in every moment of every day.

9. Remain overwhelmed by the love and acceptance of God where we are presently. We are children that are continuing 2 grow but we are also complete in Him NOW!

10. Acknowledge that our lives follow the way of the Cross, knowing persecution and trials will come. Choose 2 die more 2 self, knowing that it is the narrow way He has asked us to follow. As we die 2 self more, Christ lives through us and our joy is made complete in Him.

11. Enter the rest in God, in the rest of who we are in Christ. Rest from running around doing religious activities that He never called us to do. As we enter in His rest, trusting and relying on Him, we continue to be more than we can ever do!

12. Confident and humble leaders need to continue to train and release every member of their organizations into the ministry that the Lord has called them to. This training and releasing goes beyond the four walls of organized church.

13. Citywide transformation will expand as each individual realizes his or her purpose and calling, and is released 2 fulfill it in everyday life.

14. God's servant leaders will continue to be recognized and promoted because they seek to serve others with no concern of ever having to be served. Corporate vision never controls or usurps God's purpose for each person.

15. The Lord owns everything we have and asks us to steward everything He has given us. Ask Him how much 2 give and 2 where, always willing 2 give 100% if He were to ask that of us.

16. Kingdomized people will continue to bring godly influence and leadership to all the gates of the city. Kings and priests of God will lead by serving His wisdom and authority in the spheres of government, business, health care, media, law, church, and the educational jurisdictions of our cities.

17. Accept others and the blessing that they are, rather than being offended by them in their differences. Live with unoffendable hearts hidden in Christ. We do not need to see eye-to-eye in order to walk hand-in-hand.

18. Choose to see the good in people, pray for them, and love them regardless of if they change and conform to our ways. Believe for the best in others.

19. Every Believer must understand their journey and the continual process they walk in. Humbly come alongside others who may not be as far along in their journey or process.

20. Convergence can come as we truly love and become excited about the uniqueness of each other's differences, and value each expression of God's people.

21. Spiritual Fathers will have a heart of giving 2 their spiritual sons that surpass any thoughts of what they might receive in return through their relationship.

22. Seek to trash every idol in our life to be free in serving effectively in the army of our Lord. The greatest idol that we battle is the idol called "self." Continue to lay down self and become selfless in our pursuit of Christ and His Kingdom.

23. See the Kingdom of God beyond race, gender, or age, and seek 2 unite through all the diversity and expressions of His glorious Kingdom. In the Kingdom male, female, Greek, and Jew can work together in the fullness and likeness of Christ.

24. Prophetic accountability in the Body of Christ will increase as prophetic people move beyond subjectivity. As a Body, we will collectively hear the "sound" of God through the multiplicity of voices.

25. The earth will continue 2b filled with the glory of the Lord as more of His people move from religion to relationship while continuing to become one with God and one with each other. We will love as He loves, speak as He speaks, and do what He does, and we will be changing the world together, "AS ONE."

Make a Shift

Mahesh and Bonnie ChavdaThe word for today and for this hour is SHIFT! We are at a tipping point. Many of you are sensing this individually, and we are certainly seeing this in our nation, our economy, and our world.

A tipping point is the moment at which something crosses the point of no return. It is the boiling point, the point of crisis, where momentum that has been building up behind the scenes suddenly bursts into the forefront. When it happens, the power released brings irreversible change.

The world is in a crisis. There is a clash of kingdoms vying for the destiny of our nation. But we, the people of God, carry the authority of Heaven to turn crisis into a shift toward the plans and purposes of God in our generation. Jesus said, "All authority has been given unto Me, therefore go into the earth and preach this Good News" (Matthew 28:18, paraphrased). The Church is the agent of change not just to bring people into the Kingdom, but to bring the Kingdom into the earth. We have a mandate to write history.

Watch for a Sign
A while ago, the Lord brought a young woman's face before my, Bonnie's, eyes. It was as if He were looking through my eyes at her. Although I had not been following her story closely, I recognized the woman as Amanda Knox, who at the time was appealing her case before Italy's High Court. As I looked, I heard the Lord say, "I want you to pray for amnesty and then watch for a sign concerning the season the earth is in because of the work of the Cross." For the next several days, that's exactly what I did. I did not know the details of her case. I did not know whether she was innocent or not, but I prayed for amnesty from the judgment that was against her.

A few days later, Amanda Knox's indictment in the murder of her roommate was overturned, and within hours she was on a plane bound for home after 4-½ years in an Italian prison.

Interestingly, shortly after Amanda's release, during the Feast of Tabernacles, we got a second sign – in Israel. Gilad Shalit, a young soldier, who was abducted and held by terrorists for five years, suddenly came home to his family after Israel ransomed him at the cost of 1,027 prisoners in exchange for his life. It was as if we watched Isaiah 43 play out before our very eyes:

Don't be afraid, I've redeemed you. I've called your name. You're mine. When you're in over your head, I'll be there with you. When you're in rough waters, you will not go down. When you're between a rock and a hard place, it won't be a dead end – because I am God, your personal God, the Holy of Israel, your Savior. I paid a huge price for you: all of Egypt, with rich Cush and Seba thrown in! That's how much you mean to me! That's how much I love you! I'd sell off the whole world to get you back, trade the creation just for you (Isaiah 43:1-3 TM).

God is calling us to make a shift – a shift in our thinking; a shift in our intercession; a shift in our prophetic declarations; a shift in our expectation. We are in a season of amnesty. "Amnesty" means pardon for offenses against a government. It doesn't mean acquittal because of innocence. It means, across-the-board forgiveness, pardon, erasure of all judgment and penalty against the offending party. This is good news for us personally, and it is good news for the world.

Often, we hold ourselves, and then we hold others around us, in a prison of guilt for legitimate offenses against each other, and ultimately the government of God. "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). But it is God's glory to wipe out our offense by the power of His shed Blood. And it is our glory to extend this amnesty to the world around us. We need to make a shift, and let the reality of the Cross and the work Christ did there shape our prayers.

Harmonize with Heaven
So how do we make this shift? It begins with aligning ourselves with the voice of Heaven. Too often, Christians begin to harmonize with a theology that displaces the power and work of the Cross. Jesus is the propitiation for our sins. The wrath and judgment of God was satisfied; He took the punishment for our sins, and by His stripes we are healed. This is the message of the Gospel that we carry – heal the sick, set free the oppressed, preach the Gospel, bring in the harvest with signs, wonders, and miracles.

If your theology has you, and your nation, in the crosshairs of judgment, today is the day for a shift in your thinking. The earth is in the crosshairs of the Cross of victory. "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son" (John 3:16). A great exchange took place: your deserved judgment for His. When He came up out of that grave, He had triumphed over every principality and power, and put subject under His feet, everything concerning this world and the world to come.

Steve Jobs said, "We're here to put a dent in the universe." There was more than a dent made in the cosmos when Jesus clothed Himself in human flesh and came to earth on a mission. That mission is amnesty for the whole of creation. That's the Good News of the Gospel. It is the solution to every spiritual conflict between God and man, to every human conflict between man and man, and the answer to the groans of Creation.
It is time to step into the season of favor that came when Jesus took His seat triumphant on the Throne (2 Corinthians 6:2). It is time to go up into the city and take possession of our inheritance. It is time to aggressively take hold of God's promises and press into the tipping point for His glory to pour out on the earth today.

This is God's year to act (Luke 4:19). Jesus' life – death, burial, and resurrection – is the tipping point for the cosmos that is making a dent in history today. The earth is in the period of amnesty offered until Jesus comes, so let's get in harmony with Heaven and turn around, overturn, reverse and MAKE A SHIFT!

Windows - Keys & Doors

Paulette ReedRighteousness – Peace – Joy
In seeking the Lord regarding what He would like to reveal about 2012 (see Amos 3:7), I found myself in awe of His goodness and mercy. He is faithful and true as our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Heaven is His throne and the earth is His footstool. Truly, His Kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy (Romans 14:17). If we notice any of these Kingdom keys missing during our journey with Jesus, it's crucial to stop and find out how the enemy stole the keys. Then, ask the Lord to restore them to our heavenly key chain, as they give us access to the Kingdom of God... on earth it is in Heaven.

The joy of the Lord is your strength, beloved. So, do not lose your joy or you will lose your strength. And, what about peace? Well, peace is foundational in our Christian walk. The peace of the Kingdom is deep and everlasting – nothing on earth can shake it or take it. We lean not on our own understanding, but trust, trust, trust in the Lord. As all things are being shaken, including individual lives, churches and homes, as well as the religious, political, social and economic systems of man, we must believe that it's all preparation for the inauguration of the Kingdom of God, an unshakable Kingdom (Hebrews 12:28). Therefore, we remain peaceful in the midst of the storms. And yes, these storms may include wars and rumors of wars, famines, earthquakes and other calamities.

Perhaps as gross darkness covers the earth (see Isaiah 60) a worst case scenario question will help us arise and shine and stay focused on our Savior, the Light of the world.

Justice
In 2012, one major move of God will be justice! This year and beyond we will see more and more radical justice from Heaven released on earth. Perhaps we do too much binding and not enough loosing... God backs us from Heaven for both. We're moving into unprecedented manifestations of the Lord's "year of favor" and are about to experience seasons of "doing" justice by "being" justice. In other words, mature sons and daughters will simply reflect the character of Christ and go about their Father's business.

In regard to this insight, I recently had a vision of scrolls. The amazing part was that they were continuous scrolls, unrolling from Heaven to earth. May this remind us that we are to continuously "live out" Luke 4:17-18 which reads like this in the New Living Translation: "The scroll of Isaiah the prophet was handed to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where this was written: 'The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free.'"

Micah 6:8 states our earthly purpose succinctly: "What does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?" (NASB). And, if I may paraphrase Matthew 25:40, it's all about Jesus: "I AM the homeless sleeping under the bridge. I AM the hungry starving day by day. I AM the abused, the drugged, the poor and the prisoner. I AM the I AM.

Mother Teresa shared great wisdom as she "did" justice on the earth. Here's a quote of hers: "We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty. There is a terrible hunger for love. We must have the courage to recognize it. The poor you may have right in your own family. Find them. Love them."

Let's make love our greatest aim in 2012... and beyond. Holy Spirit was left on earth to do the rest.

Miracles
We will see more and more extraordinary miracles on earth, which are simply a manifestation of Christ's love.
And God has appointed in the Church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then MIRACLES, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, various kinds of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:28
Enough said.

Windows, Keys & Doors
I keep hearing three words over and over for 2012: windows, keys and doors. I will share briefly here, but Holy Spirit will provide individual revelation throughout the year. You will begin to see these three words – windows, keys and doors – on books, magazines, billboards, etc., and you will not be able to get away from the Lord's prompting to search them out.

• WINDOWS
Heaven's windows are opening wide,
For those who brought Me offerings and tithes
I am about to create a landslide.
Blessings will flow from the top of the mountain
Down to My people, flow like a fountain,
For I am about to rebuke the devourer,
Run My people into My strong tower.
Also, the 10/40 window will be open and ripe for harvest like never before in the history of mankind. We will see extreme mission emphasis in the Church, and nations will explode with the Gospel.

• KEYS
Keys from Heaven give us supernatural access to the Kingdom of God... on earth as it is in Heaven. I also see natural keys being handed to Believers for homes they did not build, new businesses, ministries and churches.
A key is a tool for opening a locked door, used mainly symbolically in Scripture to speak of Jesus Christ's victory over death and His authority over Believers, or of the need of deliverance from the imprisonment brought to human nature by sin and the law. Keys are a symbol of Jesus Christ's complete authority as seen in Revelation 3:7 (see also Isaiah 22:22). Keys are a symbol of Jesus Christ's ultimate victory over death and Hell as seen in Revelation 1:18. Keys are a symbol of satan's ultimate defeat as seen in Revelation 20:1-3 (see also Revelation 9:1). Keys are a symbol of Jesus Christ's authoritative ministry through His Church as seen in Matthew 16:19, usually understood as illustrating how God's forgiveness is made effective through preaching the Gospel. They are also a symbol of living faith as seen in Isaiah 33:6 (see also Matthew 13:52).

• DOORS
John 10:9 tells us that Jesus Christ is the gateway – the door – through which we must walk in order to reach God. We will see more and more testimonies, messages and books about open doors (portals) 2 Heaven. A door is also a symbol of opportunity as seen in 1 Corinthians 16:8-9 (see also Genesis 4:7; Hosea 2:15; Acts 14:27; Colossians 4:3; Revelation 3:7-8). We see the door opened in answer to prayer in Matthew 7:7-8. We see the door as indicative of imminent arrival in Matthew 24:33, and we see the door as the entry 2 the coming Kingdom in Matthew 25:10-12 and Luke 13:23-25.

Angelic Visitations
We will experience more angelic visitations as we experience more earthquakes. These angels will camp around those who fear God and will serve Believers in Christ as they do God's bidding on earth as it is in Heaven (see Matthew 28:1-2; Psalm 34:7-8; Hebrews 1:4; Psalm 103:20).

The Plowman & The Reaper
Some of us have been seeing prayers answered within 24-48 hours. It's an amazing time 2b alive!

In 2012 we will see the turnaround between seedtime and harvest speed up to such a degree that as soon as the seed is planted it brings forth. The magnitude of the harvest we are entering is seen in Amos 9:13, which says: "'Behold, days are coming,' declares the Lord, 'When the plowman will overtake the reaper...'"   May 2012 be your "LEAP" year!

Great Company of Women
The Lord will continue to raise up and release a great company of women in accordance with Psalm 68:11. The Great Commission is a command for 100% of the army of God... not 50%. We rejoice at the promise brought forth in Joel 2:28-29 that announces the new way God will be doing things. Peter declared that the prophecies of Joel were fulfilled on the day when the Holy Spirit anointed the Church with dunamis for ministry. From that day forward, ALL Believers would have the anointing of Christ for His service.

The Lord gives the command; the women who proclaim the good tidings are a great host. Psalm 68:11
It will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. Joel 2:28-29

Governmental Perfection & Authority
To write the number "twelve" in Hebrew, they wrote two Hebrew letters: yod-beth. These signify the hand (outworking) of the household in harmony under divine authority.

Twelve is the number of governmental perfection. Twelve is the number of the Church, both the old covenant Church of Israel founded by 12 physical fathers (the 12 sons of Israel) and the new covenant Church founded by 12 spiritual fathers (the 12 apostles). In the Old Testament there were 12 patriarchs from Seth to Noah (before the flood), and 12 from Shem to Jacob. Twelve persons were anointed by God for government: Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, Ithamar, Saul, David, Absalom, Solomon, Jehu, Joash, and Jehoahaz.
Eleven is the number of imperfection, disorder, or being out of order. Jacob had only 11 sons remaining at home after Joseph was lost and presumed dead. This portrays a measure of disorder. Only when Joseph was found and reunited with his brethren was there the order of divine government – the number 12.
The number 12 has a relationship to rule, along with multiples of 12:
• 12 pillars were erected at Mt. Sinai (Exodus 24:4).
• The product of 3 (perfection of divinity) x 4 (the number of the earth).
• 12 tribes of Israel (Genesis 49:28).
• There are 12 months in a year.
• 12 statues of oxen held up the water basin in Solomon's temple (1 Kings 7:25).
• God selected 12 men to conduct the census (Numbers 1:2-16).

The Battle For Your Promised Land

Steve ShultzFrom the desk of Steve Shultz:
I hardly know anyone who HASN'T gone through a tough battle this year. Let's face it, it's been an intensely hard year for many. BUT there is a reason for our battles – without them we wouldn't have victory as Victoria Boyson shares here. You need this word and make sure you pass it on to others... it's a must-read for all.

Victoria BoysonI woke up from a dream and felt the presence of the Lord all over me. In the dream, God told me 2 tell His children to: "Believe for more from God."

The Lord said that we, as His Church, do not believe for enough. We expect less because we're afraid to fully trust in His power. God wants us 2 pursue the miraculous – 2 believe for greater works from Him. He wants 2 show the world what He is capable of and needs us 2 believe for more – not just for ourselves, but 2 display His power 2 the lost. He wants 2 reveal His power 2 the world!

The world is becoming increasingly more cynical about the things of God, having greater faith in "science" than in Him. He wants us 2 change that.

Too hard, u say? That's why He wants us 2 expect more from Him.

The Purpose of the Battle
Many see the increased wickedness of the world we live in and say, "Yep, this is just the way it's gonna be. We can't stop it. The world gets darker every day." But this isn't the first time that darkness has increased. If u look at history u see in many societies darkness has increased and tried 2 destroy the works of God. But instead of allowing the enemy 2 have his way, they stood their ground and fought for the genuine power of God. We must fight for God's power in our own personal lives, the Church and also the world.

We've often misunderstood the purpose of our battles. Battles are not meant 2 just cause us tribulation, but bring victory. We cannot have victory without a battle. When God sent the children of Israel 2 take their promised land, they had 2 fight for it. Yes, it was theirs, but they had 2 step out and take it – they had 2 battle their enemies for it. It was theirs by faith, and the battle was their pathway 2 possessing the promise God gave them.

The children of Israel had already spent 400 years in slavery and 40 years in the desert – they had suffered a lot. So, u may think the promised land for them meant a vacation from their suffering. Yet, it was then God put them 2 work. They didn't just walk into the promised land and set up house. No. They had 2 fight for it. They incurred one battle after another, but they knew every battle they faced meant more victory – more blessing.

When the children of Israel entered the promised land of Canaan God gave them victory over every foe they encountered. The reputation of Israel's God so terrified the inhabitants of Canaan that five kings from the southern region decided 2 band together 2 fight them, but were sorely defeated. And in Joshua 11, believing their only hope of defeating Israel was in a massive united force, 31 kings from the northern regions of Canaan came against Israel with all their might. Their great armies banded together 2 fight them, and were a formidable force. Still, though 31 armies strong, they stood no chance against the God of Israel. Through a clear and decisive victory on the battlefield, Joshua slaughtered all the other kings and their people, utterly destroying them all.

We can look around us at the wickedness of our generation and think hopeless thoughts of defeat. But is that what God desires of us? Are we supposed 2 just lay back and let the world fall 2 pieces? I don't think so. I think, especially in this day, God wants 2 show the world His power. Like Egypt in the days of Moses, they will see it and recognize He is the one true God.

God desires 2 pour out His Spirit in a mighty way – 2 demonstrate 2 masses of people just how powerful He truly is. Without a demonstration of His power, those who have been led astray by the anti-Christ spirit prevalent in today's society may not have a chance 2 choose Him. This is simply bcoz they have not been given the opportunity 2 know Him as He truly is.

Do they know He is a God who loves, heals and delivers? God wants them 2 know His power and who He is. We must step out in faith and fight the battle 2 reveal His power to the world.

"My great glory will be displayed through [the battle u face]. When My glory is displayed through them, all [the world] will see My glory and know that I Am the Lord!" Exodus 14:17-18 (NLT)
Revival is Coming.

As the Church, we should be preparing all our people for another great awakening. This preparation is key 2 the success of God's last outpouring, because we need warriors 2 fight for the souls of men – those who will expect victory in every battle.

Revival is coming. God is not done yet. He is sending His Spirit once again 2 penetrate the darkness and rescue those who will believe in Him. We have 2 prepare for it. We have 2 expect it. We must align our hearts with His in order 2 prepare for victory.

If we do not expect God 2 act, we will not prepare, and if we do not prepare, we will suffer great loss. Ask the Lord, "What do You want us 2 do 2 prepare?" Then, follow Him closely and trust Him completely – lean on His wisdom, not on your own (see Proverbs 3:5) and you will have a great victory. Obey His leading and do not deviate from His council (see Joshua 1:7).

We need 2 shake off passivity and BELIEVE He needs us – each one of us. We are not destined 2 just sit in a pew – no one is. We are called of God 2 prepare His people 2 display His power and love – 2 know Him and teach those who want Him. The Lord is coming again, and He will come for ALL who want 2 know Him – He doesn't want anyone left out. We must prepare ourselves for this – we must prepare 2 reap a mighty harvest before His return.

Preparing for Victory
So, pastors and church leaders, intercessors and teachers, prophets and evangelists, mothers and fathers, tell those under your care 2 prepare themselves. Now is the time 2 get ready – we do not have much time left. We must focus, train and build, for His Kingdom is coming 2 this generation and we must stay vigilant – not doubt – expect. For, God wants 2 reveal His power as He did in the days of the exodus from Egypt (see Exodus 3:19-22). Follow Him and u will defeat your enemies.

Remember the fields God talked about in Luke 10:2? "The harvest is great, but the workers are few. So, pray 2 the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask Him 2 send more workers into His fields." The fields are white and we need laborers. God needs YOU! So, get ready... revival is coming. Victory is coming. The battle for the lost is at hand and u are needed. The kings will attack, bringing us another great victory for God's Kingdom.

Have no fear, believe for more! God wants 2 pour out His power!

"Go through the camp and tell the people to get their provisions ready..." (Joshua 1:11). It's time 2 battle for your Promised Land.
